  1. The guy has got friggen spunk! Your hear me? Spunk! You can't measure what he brings to the table! The man is a freaking pest! Pitchers fear his Pesky play! The Cubs WISH they had a player like him!!!!!
  2. Let's face it, Jocketty gets guys who can catch the ball.
  3. This sounds a little odd considering the Sox don't have a GM.
  4. When is the last time a bench player was signed for 2 yrs and 5 mil? I can't think of one, not even the yankee's.
  5. Although it's more yrs and $ I would have given. Really this signing isn't about Neifi, it's about Dusty.
  6. Bradley has "the spark." He can do it all....run, throw, hit, field, and flat out lay out, whereas Ramirez is a 1-D player. Granted the 1 dimension he does do well in, is amazing...gimme Bradley's "intensity" and the ability to play the game the right way...hard and fast...over Ramirez, who IS disinterested in playing most of the time. In some way...Bradley is what Patterson should be, but isn't. Bradley, IMO, is a better fit for Chicago, then Manny, and Hendry would have to be a fool to not go after Bradley. Bradley dogging it in the OF was one of the big reasons Cleveland traded him.
  7. Thome has one of the most unmovable contracts in the game. Right now Howards value might be at it's peak. I'm not shocked at all.
  8. Those guys should keep dusty busy  Winning produces chemistry and that team would have no trouble winning. Oh I agree, just sorta funny. BTW, I think Lowe is considered a whiner to.
  9. Those guys should keep dusty busy
  10. I think his point with Prior is he was the most major league ready SP prospect to come out of college in the last 50 yrs if not ever.
  11. Jeromy Burnitz 2005 VORP: 17.5 Kevin Mench 2005 VORP: 23.7
  12. Well, we have heard reports that the Cubs are going hard after Giles. I think many are just choosing to disregard it because it was Gammons. The Cubs don't need an OBP machine like Giles, they need a speedy table setter like Furcal.
  13. Bradley is getting delt this offseason - no question. I think Drew stays.
  14. on espn insider rumors: http://insider.espn.go.com/mlb/features/rumors This was the list of teams they said were interested: Cardinals Red Sox Mariners Yankees Indians
  15. I think this is easier said then done. Besides why would you want to bury someone good and cheap on your bench? I think it would be a crime if the Cubs buried a player like Cedeno in a bench role. Neifi is an OK player if used in the right role.
  16. moose has been much better then i expected him to be.
  17. Benson = Bears new #1 RB
  18. This game is butt ugly
  19. brooks doin his thing...
