Pissed off? Happy? Dissappointed? Confused as to how to feel? What's the general consensus over there right now? Dissappointed and denial. Some "06 is over" type stuff. I feel relief and dissappointment all at the same time. Just move Rick Ankiel back to pitcher and start him instead. He'll win 20 games and have a 3.20 ERA or something like that. Anyone else feel like even though the Cubs have had a mediocre offseason, it's being made better just from everything else that's happening (i.e. Burnett leaving the NL, Dodgers throwing a mint at Furcal, everyone overpaying even more for relievers than we did, Cards possibly signing Jones and Boone, etc.)? I think the cards will make a "splash" this offseason. I actually wouldn't mind signing Boone to a minor league deal.
