  1. Sacramento will be the next city MLS expands to. They have the money, have a stadium already built with an expansion plan, and have met with MLS brass a bunch of times this year. I'll be a little surprised if that group doesn't buy CUSA. Yes please. I like the idea of Sacto's group just buying Chivas, rebranding them as Sacramento Republic FC because the team would instantly have massive local support, and two ready-made rivals in LA and San Jose. I just hope the league's insistence on trying to have two teams in a market as fickle as LA doesn't override the simple solution.
  2. Sacramento will be the next city MLS expands to. They have the money, have a stadium already built with an expansion plan, and have met with MLS brass a bunch of times this year. I'll be a little surprised if that group doesn't buy CUSA. Not all. NYCFC will be a monster. Atlanta, who knows on the field, but they're getting Soundersesque season ticket buys. But yeah, the rest is a mess of bad owners & bad stadiums. Holy [expletive]. They'll raise the cap too. Seattle & LA will spend like crazy. Gonna be a dog fight for SKC, PTFC, RSL, HOU and the rest to keep in the last two spots. Brek Shea STARTED and had a nice assist for Birmingham City today. Positive sign. Guzan with yet another shutout. NYCFC still have to fill out a roster. Atlanta doesn't start for a couple years, right? It's Orlando City next year. And the existing teams are all either bad or mismanaged. DC could go right back to being bad next year. RBNY loses Henry and Cahill looks done. Chicago has the worst non-racist owner in professional sports. TFC are the MLS Cubs. Montreal has an idiot owner. Columbus and the Revs are decent.
  3. The big rumor making the rounds is that Chivas USA is going to be bought by an LA ownership group, and put on "hiatus" for a couple years. If that's true, with Houston and SKC moving to the Western Conference next year, that conference is going to be an absolute war. All the good teams in the league are going to be out there.
  4. Ricketts only has a hot plate. He still has 3 payments left on it.
  5. SF's brand new, state of the art stadium has a garbage field? Someone should tell somebody You do realize that the field at Levi's Stadium has been replaced 2 times already? They ripped it up after an MLS game, and again after the first preseason game. Guess someone told somebody Okay, I don't get this joke either.

  7. I'm sure both will play; maybe they'll limit the snaps or something if they're really worried about them aggravating injuries on SF's garbage field.
  8. To be fair, Blatter's incompetence and general tone-deaf buffoonery isn't limited to the women's game.
  9. Actually, you know what? I apologize for calling you an idiot. Bad day.
  10. As soon as you master turning left, we can talk.
  11. There's zero point in engaging this idiot; he's disagreeing with imaginary arguments that are rattling around in his mostly empty head.
  12. Are you [expletive] serious? Do you believe that? You think the police/local prosecution's deciisons to drop all charges and not prosecute Ray Rice is being explored pari passu with the criticism of the NFL? You dont actually believe that. You have decided to refute that and say its not being overlooked for whatever stupid reason you might have. The words "police investigation" may have been mentioned in an article that's absolute subject is whether or not the NFL saw the tape or whether or not Goodell should step down. But why male models?
  13. Hell no. This is a [expletive] farce.
  14. Good. [expletive] the NFL for doing this. It's disgusting that TMZ is doing a better job being journalists than all the bootlicks on NFL beats for national outlets.
  15. Someone needs to take Mike Ditka and drive him to TV equivalent of the nice country farm with lots of room to run and play. His comments on Ray Rice are beyond ignorant and tone deaf.
  16. Maybe all the lapdog "reporters" that got worked by the NFL can show that they aren't just PR mouthpieces and actually hold the league accountable.
  17. Weren't 90 of the rushing yards allowed on 2 plays that Briggs effed up on?
  18. San Francisco didn't do anything yesterday apart from what Tony Romo gifted them. I wasn't impressed. there was nothing for them to do. they are still a quality team playing their first home game in primetime. The Bears routinely suck balls out there. Yeah, they're quality, but we're not playing an unbeatable juggernaut. If Jeffrey's healthy and their starting CBs aren't, so long as we don't shoot ourselves in the foot like we did yesterday we'll have a good chance.

  20. There were a lot of positive things yesterday; I think we'll be okay. If we beat SF next Sunday we're 1-1, which is exactly what we were last year. NE looks like it might be an easier game in practice than on paper. The Jets suck and the Panthers might not be any good either. The Dolphins may or may not be any good. If we finish the first half 4-4 or 5-3, we'll be okay.
  21. Conte's pick was off a blitz; good things happen when you get pressure. Let's see what happens next week, but I am very concerned by the defensive scheme. On the plus side, assuming Jeffrey's hamstring is okay, SF lost both starting CBs today, and most of SF's points came on idiotic play from America's Saddest QB When did Eli Manning join DAL or SF? Aside from the fact that he's a pretty tragic hero, Shruggy McScramble looked completely forlorn after his 2nd pick. Or 3rd, I can't recall. Eli just looks like he'd rather be playing squash.

On the plus side, assuming Jeffrey's hamstring is okay, SF lost both starting CBs today, and most of SF's points came on idiotic play from America's Saddest QB True, though Kapernick looked pretty good and has torn us up in the past. That's true; the defense (which I thought was okay today, honestly, despite all the yards rushing) is going to have to find a way to contain him. But I do think we can put up points on them.
  23. Lovie's the worst. Honestly; he'd make a great assistant head coach/d coordinator, but he's an abysmal decision maker and a completely inept offensive mind.
