    Frankly, I don't see the connection. There isn't one, to anyone except Jurgen, in whose mind pro/rel is the key to developing young talent because he won a World Cup with Germany.

This crap's been brewing a long time.

This is immensely entertaining; it's like Garber is reading my mind with this stuff. He's saying absolutely everything that has needed to be said for a while now. ETA: He just dropped how he is on the federation board. He just whipped out his balls and set them on the table.

Check -Imply that NASL is at the same level as the actual professional league? Check -Claim that pro/rel somehow makes young players better? Check -Throw Michael Bradley and MLS under the bus for no reason? Check -Invert Mix and Bradley on the field for no reason? Check -Let the hobo play 7 minutes after watching your midfield fart around useless for 83? Check. Fire that [expletive].

    I think it's pretty amazing how flat they seem pretty much any time Yedlin isn't playing. That's how quickly he's become a vital part of what they do in my mind. There's a missing dimension on the right. Zusi and Bedoya have their merits, but neither one is fast enough to stretch the field and cause matchup problems. Only one of them should be on the field at a time.

    I'm shocked at how disjointed the US looks tonight, considering its mostly WC starters on the field.

    Thank you, Dallas. I still think LA is not only the better team but specifically a terrible matchup for Seattle, but it's MLS and crazy, fun stuff happens in MLS. Seattle might hold on. Can't wait for the 25th. The only way Seattle takes them in the playoffs is if they can hold possession through the center midfield and keep LA off the break, which is pretty impossible. Great matchups all over the field. Omar and De La Garza on Deuce and Martens. Landon and RR vs Yedlin and Evans. Alonso and Pappa or Pineda vs Juninho and Husidic or Sarvas. The tipping point is Keane and Zardes against Mashall and whichever traffic cone they run out to pair him. That's going to be a nightmare. Seattle just need to win one of the two, or draw both. I agree that LAG is a terrible matchup for them, as the Seattle midfield is really overrated and positionally unsound. I am pretty stoked for the playoffs to start. LAG, Seattle, RSL and Dallas all on one side of the bracket with a side of Vancouver or PTFC.

    Don't even get me started on the Ibarra call up. What a fricking waste. You might as well call up some randos from a Sunday league. USSF needs to muzzle him. He's an obnoxious ass, and his bit is getting old. A MLS USMNT side would wipe the floor with a Euro one.
