Dang dude, Liverpool can't even get a "at least exciting to watch" too after last year's swashbuckling style? They were very exciting to watch last year for sure, but I'm reserving judgement on how exciting they'll be this year until I see how they actually replace Suarez.

I really wish more Americans would stay the hell out of the EPL, and places like Sunderland in particular. It's a go-nowhere destination where our guys will get scapegoated for the fact the club is run in a dysfunctional manner, and the instant they are in a relegation fight (December) our guys will end up on the bench so they can bring in replacement level Championship players to finish 17th. Besler, and Yedlin in particular, would be better of in Germany. Chelsea's owner is Vladimir Putin's best friend, and most of their games end up 1-0 and are boring as [expletive]. If you are going to go top-5, go with Arsenal or Liverpool. The former are at least exciting to watch, and the latter have the benefit of the 2nd most delusional fans in England.

That was one of those 0-0 games that was actually exciting. It was a very open game; Argentina had, what, 4 clear chances to score in regulation time? The better team won. Best World Cup of my lifetime, overall.

Well, all those guys in the front six have been better than Messi thus far. Except for Beckerman, who plays a different position. Regardless, that can't be a real thing.

Even if you want to be all social justice warrior about it, watching a World Cup that involved a country wasting billions of dollars that it didn't have to waste that could have gone toward infrastructure, riots for a year leading up to the tournament, favela's being bulldozed, half the country living in abject poverty while said country's government wastes said billions, rife corruption and bribery and what not......but the missing noun in front of "All Time Scoring Leader" is what grinds your gears? That's the thing preventing you from enjoying the World Cup?
