Mourinho essentially without explicitly saying it took a shot at City using NYCFC to avoid financial fair play rules. Paraphrased: they can sign anyone in New York and bring them over and no one will say anything so no one will stop them. The worst part is that NYCFC made it seem like he signed a contract with them; he never signed anything. So NYCFC sold a bunch of season tickets marketing a guy they never had under contract. He was only under contract to MCFC.
