  1. So he leaves Donovan at home last summer. He leaves Besler at home this summer for no apparent reason other than the fitness horseshit JK started in February. He never gives Benny a serious look. He continues to stick with Brooks and Alvarado, who make me yearn for crippled Gooch and Danny Califf. What is the point of this guy?
  2. If that snake oil salesman doesn't get immediately shitcanned by Sunil like Bob did it's a joke
  3. Unreal. Unacceptable. [expletive] inexcusable.
  4. Guzan, the AR and the central defenders
  5. JK has to go. This is orders of magnitude worse than 2011.
  6. Nice crowd, Toronto. This is what happens when Eurosnobbery runs amok.
  7. The fact that I'm so annoyed that I would put Dempsey in in this game is probably exhibit A in why I am not a coach. We've looked like ass all tournament and this performance is just abysmal.
  8. The complete CONCACAF'ing we're getting from the ref aside, nobody on the team is playing well other than Guzan, and Chandler should probably just not be called up unless it's cold out.
  9. Chandler moves like Will Smith during the Fresh Prince sketches that he pretended to be an old man. I wouldn't have played Bradley tonight, but whatever. The main goal for tonight is that nobody gets injured.
  10. It's because the ref was in miles over his head. There probably should have been a half-dozen yellows and a red on Hondo by the end. It took until like the 80th minute for the persistent infringement yellow they did get.
  11. -This ref is too small for this game -JK got his midfield wrong. Zardes and Yedlin are part of the problem. -Clint is a damn hero.
  12. Kind of wary of our Gold Cup group...it's by far the most difficult group of the 3. Honduras and Panama are always pains-in-the-ass to play against.
  13. Soooo apparently JK took the captaincy away from Clint and gave it to Bradley.
  14. Love the LD tweet.
  15. I've wanted MLS to bring GDS over here for like 3 years, so getting both him and (as rumoured) Chicharito would be a boon for the league.
  16. He should have been ruled out with a "he sucks", but I'll take it. http://www.mlssoccer.com/sites/league/files/imagecache/player_profile_headshot/players/head-shots/Benny-Feilhaber_0.jpg No kidding...probably the most in-form midfielder we have, and he'll be in KC during the Gold Cup because Jurgen can't stand anyone questioning him.
  17. He should have been ruled out with a "he sucks", but I'll take it.
  18. Short answer? Terrible ownership, incompetent management, poor coaching, inconsistent play from a bunch of jobbers, and a stadium parked in the single worst spot in the greater Chicago area you could come up with.
  19. Everyone's going to treat the Copa next summer like its a mini World Cup.
  20. I'd say a loss of draft picks and a 5-year postseason ban sounds about right.
  21. If you're going to get run from a game, that's the way to do it. Legendary. FWIW supposedly the Azira red was for raking his studs against a PTFC player's leg, but I didn't see it either. If nobody can figure out why it's a red, it's probably not a red. Seriously, though, something tells me that that ref won't be working any USOC games the rest of the way.
  22. I feel bad for saying this, but I have absolutely no desire to watch the friendlies coming up this week for the US. JK has absolutely killed my enjoyment of watching the NT. Between his pissing contest with MLS, calling up Bulgarian league players and NASL hacks, and general asshattery, it's been a chore to watch them since last summer and I have no desire to watch Ibarra fart around the field like Alejandro Bedoya's non-union Mexican equivalent. I'll watch the Gold Cup, but I'll watch it on UNIMAS or wherever its on in Spanish so I don't have to listen to whoever the commentator is trip over himself to make excuses for JK's crap.
  23. F off, Blatter.
  24. I think Soccer House is lawyering up right now, honestly.
  25. Blatter's support base is CAF and all the smaller FA's around the world. England and most of the other western UEFA countries already hate him. UEFA has been pushing for a postponement in the election for weeks, so this isn't necessarily news. Add to that fact that Platini was likely the biggest backer of the 2022 bid amongst UEFA members (his son magically got named as president of some Qatari company afterward) and I'm not sure how much weight that pronouncement means.
