Is there a video that shows this? I saw some mention of it at the time, but most of the video I've seen doesn't linger on him because the home run was a laser beam. This is almost certainly not true, and probably the biggest reason(or close to it) that Sammy isn't part of any ceremonial stuff, especially in the playoffs. Crane Kenney or Ricketts may have an irrational beef with Sammy, but so do thousands of Cubs fans who Kenny/Ricketts aren't interested in giving the opportunity to boo Sammy during a moment that is meant to be fluffy PR and happy for everyone.
