  1. Balls. On the one hand, good for FCD and their home grown players. On the other, f FCD. Got to figure Sigi goes now. Kreis in? Do they keep this core?
  2. Clint was playing left mid until Roldan came in which I haven't seen since he was at Fulham. He's going to miss his PK though. And he should have hit that shot with his left instead of trying to sell the worst dive ever And Oba has been useless all 4 games of the playoffs
  3. He's calling in Fabian so that he can continue to pretend Yedlin is a midfielder and not a RB.
  4. We get two new callups and I'd bet they only see the field in the St. Vincent game. Ibarra, Gordon, Beckerman, Jones and Alvarado have no business being there. Hamid is going to get to sit the bench behind two keepers that he's better than. Bobby Wood sucks, too. Gyasi doesn't deserve to be there based on current form and neither does Mix. Still no Agudelo, Trapp, Finlay or Hedges. Jurgen sucks. I hope we lose at least one of these games.
  5. That [expletive] World Cup is going to stay there, isn't it.
  6. http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/nov/05/cristiano-ronaldo-film-messi This line made me spit coffee:
  7. RIP Strasberg and Scherzer's UCL's.
  8. Mix was playing much better before Pirlo showed up. They had to jerk him around the field to accommodate Lamps and Pirlo and the team suffered for it
  9. #1, they're idiots #2, Kries to USMNT please ETA: Kries got Lampard and Pirlo forced onto him and lo and behold playing two old ass CMs hurt them. Good luck with that, Patrick Viera. I'm sure his magical Eurodust will prevent them from being gassed next July.
  10. It astounds me how there are still guys who come here without any clue as to the challenges of playing in North America, let alone how competitive and good the standard of play actually is. Every time some old-ass Euro player comes here and fails an angel gets its wings.
  11. Yeah and then meatball public opinion will cause the Bears to draft a QB Why would meatball public opinion cause that? And why would it be meatbally to want the Bears to draft a quarterback when their only decent option is 33? It would be meatbally to burn a top 10 pick on one when Jay is probably fine for the next 2 years and there's no clearly superior QB in the draft. Take one in the 3rd, whatever, but I meant the #1 pick.
  12. I think Columbus might be the best team left. Their movement off the ball is fantastic
  13. Cutler is the only reason they aren't 0-7
  14. Yeah and then meatball public opinion will cause the Bears to draft a QB
  15. I feel like he could have kept running toward the pylon as opposed to nearly destroying himself there but ok
  16. Jay is doing that thing where he locks in on one guy
  17. Yay turf sucks again
  18. $20 says that gets called back
  19. They know they're allowed to throw downfield right?
  20. Ellis hit the post, too, with a chance to win it. I've never seen anything like that shootout before. Besler's attempted panenka was the worst I've ever seen.
  21. Steven Gerrard is the only reason this LA team didn't rip through the Western conference this season. He's unbalanced their entire team and made them markedly worse. Seattle complete lack of midfield is going to cost them this game.
  22. Clint was off on the original ball over the top. Marrufo waived down the AR and let play continue until the goal got scored and then consulted the AR and pulled it back. To anyone half-paying attention it looked like Marrufo disallowed it after LAG complained enough. Bad officiating.
  23. Mark Geiger has gone from our best ref to our worst in the span of 18 months
  24. well, looks like Stewart is headed to Philly to be the Union Sporting Director. http://sbisoccer.com/2015/10/union-hire-earnie-stewart-as-sporting-director Thats a great get for Philly and the league. Earnie knows his [expletive].
  25. Other than his JK fetish he's been a good administrator. Unfortunately for him the men's senior NT is the most important part of his job... I want Ethan Finlay on the NT now. Unfortunately we have a complete idiot in charge.
