  1. Lyndon Gooch isn't that good and nobody should care if he plays for Ireland or the US.
  2. Jeffrey's drop, the bad PI call on Royal and the terrible spot that we didn't challenge were decisive. This was a game that honestly they should have won.
  3. I'm sure I'll be in the minority on this but I think this is a stunningly bad decision on LD's part. Maybe LAG should use one of the very promising academy prospects instead. why is it bad on his part? Seems like a desperate and sad move by the team but if you're him, what's the harm? The sentimental part of me realizes that he retired after ripping through the league after he got Jurgen'd in 2014, beat Dempsey's Sounders in a great conference final and won MLS Cup and wonders why he would come back to spoil that fairytale ending. Coming back for a random 2 months nearly 2 years after retiring...how effective is he going to be, even off the bench? This is notwithstanding LAG ignoring their academy products that can't get a game in. I don't believe Bradford Jameson or Jack McBean are going to be less effective that a 34 year old LD with two years worth of rust. I suppose, thought, if anyone in US soccer history has earned the right to do whatever makes him happy it's LD.
  4. If Landon's statement is to be believed, after the Galaxy lost like 3 guys in a week(mainly Zardes for the year) they joked with him about coming back, and then after some thought he was like "well, okay" I'm sure I'll be in the minority on this but I think this is a stunningly bad decision on LD's part. Maybe LAG should use one of the very promising academy prospects instead.
  5. wait wtf is this now?
  6. Having Klejstan, Nagbe, and Morris in case of injury/ineffectiveness is pretty nice too. Kinda funny how quickly defensive mid went from the one spot where we had real good depth to the biggest question mark. When you refuse in all situations to look at more than 2 guys for that role it gets tough, especially when those two have a combined age of like 70
  7. If we can fix the Bedoya shaped hole in our lineup and add Clint to this mix as a scorer/attacking sub I feel better knowing between Wood, Jozy, Pulisic and Dempsey we can break down opposing defenses.
  8. On the flip side, Bradley is moving around out there like I would be if that were me and I'm 25 lbs overweight and old as crap now.
  9. I get why from a scheduling and logistics standpoint why this game is in Jacksonville but in general our qualifiers should just not be a) in NFL stadiums not located in Seattle and b) not in Florida.
  10. Cam, probably. It's good to see Sacha getting a shot while not being dumped on the wing.
  11. On the other hand, all these people have to wake up in Texas.
  12. I didn't realize Alabama was playing tonight
  13. Pretty sure that makes Jay the longest tenured Bear
  14. ND knows they're only tied right?
  15. Womp womp texas
  16. Womp womp texas
  17. CB Bucknor and Angel Hernandez should be in any "worst" conversation.
  18. Speaking of Theo, is there some particular reason he hasn't signed an extension yet?
  19. The defense played by our battery in the past two games has been pretty sloppy.
  20. Is Lil' Sebastian on a pitch count today?
