  1. No bucket of fish for Tommy after the game
  2. That was the "hey let's not cover 2nd, or hold the runner at 2nd or block the ball in the dirt" sequence.
  3. Jose Macias was like off-brand Neifi.
  4. He watched Javy being awesome on the bases and wanted to try and be awesome too
  5. Rizzo probably should have just kept going
  6. Maybe your robot eyes are just sharper than mine, Johnny 5
  7. I thought he was pretty obviously safe at home earlier this week so... i thought he was safe but that was wayyyyy less obvious, come on this was cut and dried Javy's hand being well on the plate being obscured by the catcher isn't much different that the dirt obscuring who got to 1st first right there.
  8. looked pretty damn obvious to me that romo's foot got there first I thought he was pretty obviously safe at home earlier this week so...
  9. You aren't supposed to overturn that based on every replay the Cubs have been screwed on this year.
  10. If one of these part-time hotel desk clerks injure Pulisic i'm going to be mighty pissed.
  11. There's a fairly large section of the fanbase that is of the mind that Bedoya looks toothless in the attack for the NT because he's not being played at attacking mid, but out on the wing. When you point out he had like 6 goals in the entire time he was in France, they change the subject.
  12. Looking forward to FJ half assing it on the wing instead of at LB.
  13. Ugh. Javy turns that. Also maybe Zobrist should have let the good defender turn that
  14. There's too much of a good thing, and then there's way too much of an okay joke. Random pictures and gifs of seals(a dozen in less than 2 pages of this thread, for example) every time La Stella's name comes up isn't humor. That's why I tried to freshen the bit up. RELATED: If someone here brings a Seel Pokeman card to Wrigley and tries to get La Stella to sign it, and records this interaction I will pay them cash money.
  15. Here's an action shot of Kyle in training: http://previews.123rf.com/images/seanjoh/seanjoh1101/seanjoh110100022/8588766-Tree-stump-on-grass-field--Stock-Photo.jpg
  16. Sigh. Less than two years left on this dope's contract.
  17. Love his baseball card http://assets.pokemon.com/assets/cms2/img/cards/web/DP2/DP2_EN_97.png
  18. La Stella still being part of this organization is a joke.
  19. I'm sure her quitting the Reign had nothing at all to do with the fact that, with her USSF contract terminated, her pay would be cut from north of $250k to just under $40k. I also find it amusing that Carli Lloyd is blowing off her club team's last 4 games for a book tour that was supposedly scheduled in advance. The behavior of this generation of WNT players compared to the WUSA/99WWC winning generation is just night and day. The WNT players clearly don't give a crap about NWSL. When USSF offers them the same contact as the MNT this winter (meaning the guaranteed roster spots, restrictive call-up rules and subsidized salary for NT members playing in the NWSL would be eliminated, in lieu of a block grant to NWSL for the individual clubs to allocate as they see fit) and they decline, I'm very interested in how that will be spun by Kessler. Because that's likely what's going to happen.
