  1. It was a great touch past the last man for Cesc, but that was straight piss poor defending from Spurs, really. They were always going to be outmatched missing their 4 best players.
  2. MLS refs are really poor. That crowd deserved a goal.
  3. Don't forget the geriatric keeper losing it and knocking F Money down for no reason. I really want SSFC to hang like 3 on Houston in the 2nd.
  4. What's funnier is its a team which is in the same division as Real's youth side. I loved it.
  5. Freddy is an idiot:

  7. At the beginning, absolutely. I think it affected everything else that happened, and the organization should have been smart enough to prevent it from happening. If you know you just spent a top 5 pick on a sensitive guy, you don't let Kreutz, Jones and Urlacher behave like d bags in public and in private. There was one guy on the entire D that wasn't a dick to him, and I know this firsthand.
  8. Sulley, I know you love the Bears, but Ced got as raw of a deal as one could get here. I hope he quotes Jung and then starts chanting.
  9. You know darn well it's going to be about "fire, passion, heart, pride, etc"
  10. lol whut I want to like the Bears, as they are my team nominally, but it's hard when 90% of the fans are tools and the team itself are pretty clownish.
  11. I'm glad that Benson is tearing the Bears apart. As an organization and fanbase, they deserve failure. Also, Ochocinco is my favorite athlete (non soccer, non ARam division).
  12. You know who suck? Milan. Milan suck. That team is old, bad, old, bad and washed up.
  13. He seems to like playing in the big games. Are you watching the game? I'm only seeing the gamecast, but it seems to be a wide open attacking game looking at the stats. Arsenal grab a quick lead. I'm too lazy to find the stream everyone is watching on BigSoccer. I'm just following the game thread while I play dinosaurs with my daughter. Arsenal are such a joy to watch.
  14. And a midfield with their Captain on the sidelines. I really like Benayoun too. Spector getting the start today vs. Arsenal. Arsenal need the win today and they will be able to keep pace with Chelsea. Right now I think the league is going to come down to those two. Why Six Alex doesn't play Anderson in games like this is beyond me. He should probably have put Owen in sooner, too. If you watch him off the ball his runs are fantastic.
  15. Deuce just equalized for Fulham against Citeh.
  16. So that's pretty much the United midfield I expected all season. They got overrun by a midfield that isn't that great (although I rate Benayoun highly).
  17. Does Robbie Findlay have the pace to play the Davies role in our system?
  18. He's with the right coach for central defenders, too. Arena is responsible for just about every good one we've ever had.
  19. WTF Jozy. I had forgotten about Orozco and Omar Gonzalez. I rate Gonzo quite highly, actually.
  20. Definitely time to start planning to play without him. One setback and he'll absolutely be out for the World Cup. Does anyone really feel that comfortable with a Boca/DeMerit center pairing? Because I don't. I hope Castillo is ready to play, not center just in general. Our CB depth is really bad: Gooch Boca DeMerit Conrad Marshall Goodison Califf? Castillo? Edu? We could always shift Specs into the center, too, I guess. This is another reason Jones will be key-if Gooch is out, we're going to need his bite in the DM spot.

  22. I miss him already. Love Starbury
  23. WTF, Gooch is out six months now... A late April return is cutting it close.
  24. We made a star out of a kid who was too immature to not buy into the hype. He's an idiot.
  25. Thats an interesting choice... I think we're pretty even matched with them in terms of talent. Same with Denmark. I think it's brilliant. Both games are winnable. Both are loseable. If we win we get the confidence boost of winning against good teams with some famous names in Europe. If we lose, we take it as a lesson on what we need to improve before South Africa. Perfect games to blood Jermaine Jones in as well. Hopefully he is healthy for camp cupcake. He can spend three weeks training and getting to know guys followed by difficult friendlies in familiar environs against familiar players. I think I like it more than deciding to play Holland, England and Germany and hanging out hat on trying hard while getting outclassed by a disinterested opponent. Slovakia and Denmark are just interesting choices when you consider our likely group opponents.
