  1. Welp, that was a cool 3 quarters.
  2. Really? You're going to let Norris Cole knock you out?
  3. They've spent the first 5 minutes of the quarter throwing the ball away.
  4. Officiating evening out now.
  5. This is the Bulls' fan playoff thread, not the "everyone respect how great the Heat are" thread. We all know the Heat are great. I'm not sure why people ITT feel like it needs to be pointed out every 10 posts. Because someone mentioned one post earlier that the Heat didn't look that good. It was an absurd statement, and was rightly corrected. I'm unimpressed with the Heat. The series would be 2-2 if the Bulls had played with any poise in the 4th quarter of game 2. Being unimpressed isn't saying they aren't good; they are. But they do not strike me as some unbeatable juggernaut. Quite frankly, if the Bulls had Deng and Hinrich playing, I'd rate them as able to make it a 7 game series. If Wade is going to play like a broken down old man, Indiana has a good shot at beating them.
  6. Arsenal draw and Spurs win would also be enough. As an Arsenal fan I am getting tired as [expletive] as watching them suck for half of a season only to get hot and finish 3rd or 4th. Would rather Clint get a shot in the CL. D'oh. You're right; a draw at St. James' Park would be enough with a Spurs win.
  7. As dumb as I think JK is, I do not believe he's made up his mind 3 weeks before qualifiers that Landon Donovan isn't a better option than Graham Zusi. In other news, Wigan are relegated and Spurs remain 5th; they're away to Newcastle and have to lose and Spurs have to win this weekend to finish 4th.
  8. If they want any hope at all at somehow winning the game they need to get it to about 7 or 8 by the end of the quarter.
  9. Jesus Christ, pull Robinson. He's 0-11, committed about 88 turnovers and is clearly out of gas
  10. Oh, also pull Robinson. He's completely terrible tonight.
  11. They probably won't shoot 26% the whole game but they need to keep taking the ball to the hoop and try and chip the lead down from the line
  12. Lets play count the steps on that LeBron "continuation": 1, 2, 3.
  13. Look at how terrible the crowd and the Bulls are tonight.
  14. It's too bad we're outmanned; I really would have liked to see a series with both teams at full strength (broken-ass Wade included in that). It would have been entertaining. Grasping at straws to say the least, but the extra day off here between games might be very useful. Go back to Miami 2-2 and then just take your chances from there.
  15. It's a cavernous building and most of the lower levels on either sideline are filled with rich people who don't yell? Chicago crowds in general kind of suck in terms of sustaining energy and noise. The only game I can think of off the top of my head that was an exception there was the 2010 NFC Championship. Hawks crowds feel better in the same building, though. Different season ticketholder base. Different kind of fanbase in general; the prawn sandwich brigade isn't as prevalent.
  16. The defense was poor, the FT shooting was bad, but the officials had the Heat in the penalty with 7 minutes to play. I'm still not sure what Noah did on the loose ball foul, and Marco was fouled on his 3. Bosh had a blatant travel in the 1st half. The refs made some really bad calls to kill momentum for the Bulls.

  18. James is worse than an Italian soccer player. Way worse.
  19. I refuse to believe that was anything other than Noah flopping, because the ref was right there and there's no way he could have missed that assuming his eyes were working.
  20. I think LeBron James is my least favorite athlete to watch play against a team I like, ever.
  21. The amount of contact that's required for the Bulls to draw a foul is nuts. A lot of it is reputation, since it's our 2nd and 3rd string playing these games, but it's frustrating to watch a team try so hard, work so hard and then very rarely get the benefit of the doubt from the officiating.
  22. This loss sucks. The game was there, and we're too thin, worn down and unlucky to have taken advantage of it.
  23. That's probably game.
  24. The whistle only blew after Noah had secured the ball and two additional beats went by. Oh, there's a foul on Marco's 3. Christ.
