I don't think so, which is why I'm not in favor. Though if enough people want to shorten the time after the first 4 rounds or so, that seems fine (though I still think you've got to go 12+ hours to account for time differences). We still have 3+ rounds to go (plus a few prospect draft rounds) and only 10 days. Seems ridiculous that it would take that long, but who knows. Well, it would be good to have some time after the draft to make adjustments to rosters, as well. Plus we still have a minor league draft to run, as well. yeah, I mentioned the prospect draft. Though I don't think that necessarily has to be done by the season opener (ideally it is, but not a huge deal). I emailed Adam again. It's 530 am in Perth, so there's no rush right now anyway. But maybe if we don't hear from Adam by next time truffle logs on to the draft, we autopick for him? I hate to do that to a guy who's been in the league so long, but he's not been around much at all since the start of 2015 and he isn't responding to my emails (not that everyone has to respond to me, but the combo isn't a good sign). We could try to be democratic about it and get a few votes about what he would do here (Dickey isn't a bad pick for him, but he probably needs a second RP too, so maybe Perkins?). Or just let it run the 24 hours and hope we haven't missed Bob. The combination of Adam being slower than usual this year right before and after the Australian has slowed us down quite a bit. Maybe next year we should set up the draft order by geography so we have fewer time zone issues. :)
