then why not just keep the worse of the 7th/8th starts, seems more judicious than throwing down a huge penalty just for the hell of it it's not some huge penalty for the hell of it. it makes sense. The limit is 7 starts. If you use more than 7, you lose your best starts. That's a perfectly logical penalty for exceeding the limit. Sometimes it costs a team a win, sometimes it doesn't. I took away 27 points from truffle.

don't really think anybody is doing that. some are just hoping he goes to a lot of them. Doesn't the article start by saying how many all star games he's been to as evidence of how good he is? That throwaway sentence in the intro about how good he is is what you're taking issue with in that sweet article? It starts by saying he has a lot of hits and all star game appearances. It's great that it gets around to smacking people like McCarver in the mouth (though I'd love it even more if they noted the pattern of "lazy" attacks that get thrown around by white "analysts" against brown players). But don't tell me if someone came in here praising a player by saying they have a lot of hits and ASGs that everyone wouldn't shout them down.

How about just 6 hitters? I'd have an 8 hitters than a DH. If you're so bad at fielding that you can't even play first base, you shouldn't be playing baseball. -
