I don't think we need to be smug after 9 games, but I don't really give a horsefeathers about how poorly fans of every other team are taking this either. I'm just genuinely enjoying being a good team of awesomely fun players. If others are suddenly going to hate Cubs fans b/c we finally don't suck, well horsefeathers off, I don't care. -

ok but he needs to drop a MLB player to make room for Gattis. I'm not looking to do more than necessary to keep his team legal.

Agree on Store but Erasmo isn't in the pen any more. He's starting Friday. If he goes back to the pen, then I'll make that move. My only hesitation with Crick is he was a top 50 prospect not all that long ago. If he's really better than Ref, then maybe that's the best move. Drop Bailey is obvious. But then he needs to drop an MLB player for the 2nd move.

Now Gattis and Kendrick are back for HBC. Need to drop 2 guys. Gonna need some help here. He has 11 prospects, so Refsnyder is on his MLB bench. Is he good enough to keep in this league? Who else do you drop?

2nd Q - CBS lists Fielder as 1B eligible even though he doesn't qualify under our rules (played only 18 games at 1B last season and 0 this season; we require 20 last year or 10 this year). I don't know what the issue is or how to fix it

I meant you could have just come here and said "I wanted Greinke and not the other 2" and then we would have removed those 2 starts. We've done that when people post here or on the chat at CBS before their pitchers' games start.

Chuck has to step away from his team due to a personal tragedy. I'm not really sure what we can do with it for the rest of this year but I guess we can jointly manage it until he can come back. No trades, we'll just make simple roster moves and FA moves to give his team the best chance to win each week. Sound fair?

oh wait, that's why i DON'T do that, but rather just apply the same rules to everyone.

nope. i know the sunday start thing has happened, but it's not frequent at all. maybe once or twice all last season? if you go over 7, you lose your best start.

are you talking about someone going over their 7 starts? pretty sure they lose their best start. that seems pretty fair. no, this is having too many players on your team for 2 days. agreed on the taking away best start for going over 7. he's getting his ass kicked so it may not matter this week but i thought there was a discussion about this last year or the year before.

when we first moved here, my son was 6 and a little freaked out about the city. so he wanted to wear his batman halloween costume out to a restaurant, which happened to be a decent steak place. that'll get you lots of attention
