How is this persuasive? This isn't his first rodeo. He's not a moron. No ones arguing that. He is consistent in making this sort of statement. Contrast that with Peyton, who has his moments, but just as frequently implies or directly assigns blame to others. Favre did/does the same thing. The point is that Brady is on par in terms of celebrity with Peyton and Favre, but he, IMO, is easily the most humble (at least publicly). In terms of his intensity and demanding nature, it plays out in how Brady communicates with the players and coaches in the lockeroom and on the sideline (rather than through the press). That's fine with me. People with good leadership skills do that all the time. Working very hard and expecting the same of your teammates isn't a bad thing. Yeah, I don't think that's true. I think all 3 of them are pretty similar in intensity and lack of humility. Away from the game, Peyton and Favre come of as more laid back, but maybe I've just seen too many commercials. Brady seems like a very intense person. Humility is not a characteristic common among star NFL QB, like good presidents, head coaches, CEOs, and other positions which require decisions in high pressure situations (I'm not equating NFL decisions with presidential decisions before someone loses their mind over that). Lack of humility is not necessarily a character flaw.
