Suddenly lost power abuck or realize how stupid this argument was? you're right, calling a 5 yd penalty in OT shows the [expletive] PI call that is the sole reason the game is still being played was not that big a deal. Thank you Its a 10-yard penalty. +5 instead of -5. Made a huge difference in the kick.

I think the non-call when the defender didn't turn his back and swiped Eifert's arms earlier was BS too. But were only worried about the calls in ND's favor. Since the refs from the conference ND just spurned are so concerned about how great ND does. Saying the refs want ND to win is just stupid.

I wonder if the Cubs were requiring the Angels pay more of Santana's salary than what the Royals were? Then the Cubs are idiots if they think the Angels were going to pay more than they were required to pay Santana Let's not give anyone any ammo. There's no credible suggestion that the Cubs asked the Angels to pay more money. This was probably just a matter of taking a flier on a prospect bc they were going to let Santana go anyway. The higher cost of Russell was probably more important. -
Should we be pulling for an Oregon/IU Rose Bowl? #-o Don't get me wrong, I don't think IU will win the division lol. But is funny to me that it is even remotely possible after an 0-3 start. Why couldn't Wisconsin have gotten a bowl ban too? :P It would be fun if it came down to a sub .500 team going to the Rose Bowl. Would they just cancel the auto-bid? Could they get there without getting 3 more wins? 2 more to catch UW in the division and 1 more in the title game.

Um... Indiana is only 1-3. They just beat a pathetic Illinois team and have Iowa and Wisconsin at home. Then PSU and Purdue on the road. Purdue? They already lost to Wisconsin. They play PSU, then at Iowa and at Illinois. Then Indiana at home. So the teams play the same opponents the last 5 games. The only reason Indiana has a W in conference and Purdue doesn't is Indiana got Illinois first. Doesn't matter. Wisconsin is going to win whichever division this is.

Really? It seems so huge. Guess I gotta try it out when I get it this afternoon. It's definitely bigger than any phone I've had in a long time. But it's not noticeably bigger in my pocket than my last phone (Incredible).

Saragin has a love for the big 12 that I don't understand. Why is TTech 8? They lost to the only good teams they've played. Look at that OOC schedule. Ugh.

Teams change over the course of the season. Beating USC in week 1 this season is more impressive than beating them late bc they're talented but not deep. As they get to the meat of the schedule, they'll be easier to beat. Similarly, beating Michigan when Denard is still breathing is a better win than once he's been pummeled and their entire offense is thrown to the crapper. Or beating OU after their Oline, which was a jumbled mess in fall camp has had a chance to gel, and once they get back their best defensive lineman and one of their top WRs. That's more impressive to me than beating an inferior OU team early. Hey if ND and KSU had switched weeks against OU, then ND would be 3 and maybe 2 in the country. That's stupid. Notre Dame also jumped nine spots in the AP poll after beating Michigan State, which wouldn't have happened if MSU was unranked as they currently are. And same with KSU and WVU. Who has KSU beat that's any good (that ND didn't also beat)?

Yep, it's crazy to change your opinion of how good a win is based on what that team ends up doing the rest of the season. It is. Yet you're still doing it. Midseason even. If ND beats USC, are you going to count that as a win over a No. 1 team? Now you're using your flawed logic and attributing it to me.
