Last night was fun. I went from 11th place to 4th in my pool and I think I have a great shot at winning if Florida wins it all.

I'm not sure what point in the game you posted this, but they opened the roof before the game and played a song to go along with it. The fans got pretty excited and it was actually pretty amusing.

I'll place a wager on how many days of service time Cam Smith racks up this year. 172 days is a full year and I say he ends the season with 86 or less.

Eh, he made a significant adjustment against Xavier in the second half by limiting the number of minutes Ivisic and Johnson were on the floor together because that pairing was killing their offensive flow because of the way Xavier was playing them. He was damned if he did, damned if he didn't yesterday because whoever KJ was guarding was scoring at will.

He didn't get there until 1995. He actually was an announcer for the Rockford Lightning early in his career and then did the Bulls beat before he started working with Boers.

The carelessness with the ball was really striking. I don't think he's ready for the NBA either. He won't be able to be an on ball guard right away if that's not improved. Really disappointed in the lack of improvement from him throughout the year. Almost makes me think he was never really fully recovered from the early season injury. Ivisic was really the guy that made everything go for that team anyway. Hopefully he's back next year.

Long sleeves in August in LA doesn't make any sense though. This almost has to be an away spring training game looking at the 2014 schedule.

I had UCSD as well and almost got the upset. Mizzou had it going with a comeback until every single player on the team that touched the ball after they got to within one point decided they were going to be the hero instead of running the offense and it cost them the game.

However, as my friend the Kansas fan pointed out, that's not as embarrassing as UNC starting as #1 and not even making the tournament.

2 things, Maryland is an absolutely terrible matchup for Illinois with 2 capable bigs on the floor at almost all times and they shot out of their minds in that Big 10 tournament game. Illinois didn't play great, but that final score was much worse than it should have been. But I'm with you, they've been a little schizophrenic even outside of the injuries/illness and whatever Boswell got into his head about shooting 3s after the game against Iowa needs to get back out, because he shouldn't be taking them unless he's wide open with plenty of time to set up.

Some fun games yesterday and I can't tell you how much I absolutely love the quad screen YouTube TV has. I was a little disappointed I couldn't get the exact mix I was looking for on it but overall it's awesome. Illinois looks so much better right now but I think this game against Maryland is a big ask with Morez at maybe 80%.

I was thinking the same thing last night as I watched the end of the USC Purdue game a little after 10:00. I feel like the Big East has always run a little late but that seemed later than usual last night, possibly because of the DePaul OT game though.

No, they get a 5 man taxi squad that's "available" but not on the active roster. Between the games being 10 days before the season starts and that far from home, they're allowed to have 5 guys with them but not on the active roster and also don't have to be optioned/cut/DFA/whatever until the final cuts before actual opening day.
