    Anybody have any idea if any other good teams are scoring 1 or 0 almost 20% of the time? That seems ridiculously high for a team that's won this many games.

    Rizzo is damn near roided up Bonds quick on that inside pitch. I have no idea how he ever makes contact with the pitches that look like they'd hit him if he didn't swing.

    There's a fangraphs article somewhere that shows he basically started completely selling out for power after leaving the Cubs, for good(HR) and bad(huge jump in Ks, drop in AVG). Yeah, I think I read that article. I don't think he's cheating, just surprised more guys don't go that route. he was [expletive] CAUGHT CHEATING Yeah, a little over 3 years ago and I'm betting he's been tested a dozen times since and hasn't gotten popped again. He's just taking the Javy Baez approach these days.

    He swung about 5 minutes late on strike 3 in his first AB and it wasn't even an inside pitch. Then he does that. Crazy.

    Man, after reading parts of the complaint, this just seems weird. Kinda gross on his part, pretty naive and seemingly very insecure actions on her part. It would make sense to me if she was uncomfortable with all the things he was asking her to do, she would have told him to take a hike long before the alleged incident. Really hope it's BS for his sake, but who knows.

    This is correct by solving the following system of equations. You're welcome, David: x = Cubs remaining wins y = Giants remaining losses z = Dodgers remaining losses x+y=31 x+z=34 y+z=7 (Dodgers and Giants play each other 7 times, so they will combine for at least 7 losses). x = 29 Or you can just go look at the highest elimination number in the standings at MLB.com while you drink your beer and not have to do any math.

    Meh, not enough dongs. In all seriousness, looks like really solid progress and I'm sure the pop will get back to near normal levels once he completely figures the new approach out and is comfortable with it.

    Man, I really want to see him succeed more than ever now. Seems like a really good dude and it seems like the organization just gets it in general. They've handled situations like this so well in the last couple years and I really don't think there's a better guy to have leading them all than Maddon.
