    Done! Who was supposed to be Rizzo's Disco Ball? Yes! Thank you. Cubscott34 got in on the Rizzo one. He shouldn't be allowed a name change after the recent winning streak. Has to wait until the off season, he may be needed again.

    Scrambled eggs are for breakfast burritos. Give me a nice over easy serving of eggs so I can sop up the delicious yolk with my buttery toast. And strawberry with the syrupy goo on anything is terrific.

    LaRussa and Stewart are still in charge of the Arizona Gritbacks, so I think that's still the case.

    I'm with Bob, brown means it's good for banana bread, and that's about it. Yellow with some green plz. Agreed. For me it's totally a texture thing. They get mealy once they get too ripe and are good for nothing but smoothies and banana bread.

    Yeah, they're definitely going to play. It may sprinkle a bit during the game, but that front is mostly breaking up and fading to the south.

    I went to a Giants game at AT&T in the summer of 2003 and distinctly remember having a conversation with a Giants fan about Dusty. I pretty much said he's been fine so far and I liked the move and was pretty much told, yeah, just wait, you'll hate him. I didn't want to believe it, but holy [expletive] was that lady right.

    Those must be some really, really good super secret 'roids they've got. There's no way he should be back this year. I hope he tears the damn thing again if he does come back. And that's not something I'm prone to say seriously. I hope he comes back perfectly healthy, but sucks rocks. Then I hope they're too wimpy to take him out of the rotation because of his history. Then I hope he keeps sucking hard. That would work too. But I'd prefer him out of commission for even longer considering he's the crown prince of the holier than thou a-hole BFIB brigade.

    If the Cardinals play .500 for all their remaining non-Cubs games, they'll have won 97 games, not counting the 5 remaining against the Cubs. The Cubs have played at a .653 pace since the all-star break. If they continue that pace for their remaining non-Cardinal games, they'll have won 93 games. Not including the 5 remaining against the Cardinals. I think you can fill in the blanks here. Win the play in game and I like our chances in a five game series against these guys. I don't think you filled in the right blanks there. Algebra is hard.

    It's absolutely amazing to me that these guys are swinging through these 85 mph fastballs that are chest high. Crazy.

    They got knocked around pretty good by the Pirates over the weekend. Maybe the fade is starting and they're actually regressing to the mean. Their pen has been used an incredible amount this year too.

    Back to the last half inning since I'm just now catching up, McCarver was talking about how the splitter from Haren is never a strike as Moss swung over the top of it to K. As he's saying this, the K zone on their broadcast clearly shows the splitter he threw for the strikeout catching the inside edge of the plate. He's just so old an senile.
