Best decision I made was listening to the radio broadcast instead of Smoltz and Buck. That was a much more satisfying experience.

lol, filter broke the link. Maybe try a url shortener? It's working for me.

If there's one guy I really wish could have seen this, it's Santo. This team was everything to him and it just sucks he didn't get to see his own HOF induction or this. RIP Ron.

This is the absolute cherry on top of the whole thing. Holy horsefeathers that's terrific!
-
For a journeyman like him, how ridiculously amazing is it to hit a home run in your final career AB in game 7 of the World Series.
-
I was keeping it together pretty well this morning until I watched that.

Schwarber: Fully torn ACL and LCL. Out for 172 meaningless games.

That is just amazingly, pure, unadulterated joy and I love it! -
Wow. I'm still, I don't even know, in shock? What a series, what a game, what a team.
-
I expected this to be incredibly difficult, but they certainly made it as gut wrenching as possible. World horsefeathering series champions!!!!!

Guys,I've been watching this team religiously since the summer I turned 8 in 1984 watching Sandberg,Dernier, Sutcliffe, Matthews, Cey, Moreland, Davis and the rest of that crew. My grandfather passed away in 2004 and I pulled out his memorial card so I could watch with him the last few innings. I'm crying like a baby and I love the horsefeathers out of all of you. Lastly, for Fred!

Yep, great read on the ball.

I can't believe how terrible Joe has been the last two games. Just inexcusably awful.
-
This has been a much more pleasant experience with Pat and Ron synced up to the tv broadcast.
-
I'm on my third 16 ouncer and have a 2013 Bourbon County lined up if things go well. Fingers crossed.
-
I'm fighting it already. The realization that this is actually about to go down has finally set in. I'm a mess right now.
-
also, I'M FREAKING THE horsefeathers OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Man, this whole team is just the best. I love them so.
-
Finally uploaded this to YouTube.
-
Why the horsefeathers is Chapman up? That's monumentally stupid at this point.
-
Addy looking much more comfortable right now. Hopefully that'll remain the case tomorrow assuming we get there.
-
I don't think this can be quoted enough. Just absolutely ridiculous.
-
I just finished the nachos guys. I think it helped.

My gf and I were planning on going to dinner tonight to celebrate our anniversary. Originally, she suggested going early so I could watch the whole game, but I just got a text from her saying she wanted to veg on the couch and have a World Series night at home and, get this, make deluxe nachos!!!!! No prompting from me and she has no idea about the lucky game day nachos. Not all Cardinals fans are terrible people.

This is what I've been thinking all day since seeing the strike zone numbers on West. The Cubs hitters are so adept at judging balls and strikes (at least the first 5-6 guys) that Tomlin being forced to throw actual strikes with average pitches puts the Cubs at a big advantage. If Jake can throw strikes, all that movement on his pitches, even if they are in the zone, makes him tough to square up.
