  1. Holy horsefeathers, that's hysterical. The fall just made it even better.
  2. Please move to Cardinals thread based on BFIB Twitter.
  3. He tops out at around 85, so yeah, he's probably averaging 83 or so. It's insane he's still getting anyone out.
  4. Those Brazilians. Very affectionate.
  5. So how is that scored? Fielder's choice and sacrifice hit?
  6. I'm going to need to see documentation of this. I've seen multiple people claim it, but nothing from anyone who actually has knowledge of the situation. [tweet]https://twitter.com/carriemuskat/status/759866974339936257[/tweet] I SAID SOMEONE WHO KNOWS SOMETHING!
  7. I'm going to need to see documentation of this. I've seen multiple people claim it, but nothing from anyone who actually has knowledge of the situation.
  8. Javy just made that ground ball up the middle, a play that requires a lot of range, look very routine. And the rocket of a throw. He's just so smooth out there.
  9. The look and fist pump was glorious. He's got so much potential if he can harness it.
  10. I'm pretty sure that him accepting the suspension was part of the deal that kept it as short as it was. I have a feeling that if he had said he would appeal, it would have been at least 50 games. As to the counseling, I can only hope that was part of the agreement.
  11. This seems really out of character if these rumors are true. Do not like.
  12. BFIB twitter covered it pretty well. I also saw some stuff locally where fans were complaining about the bat flip and calling it classless and were rightly told to shut their pieholes. Most of the people I choose to associate with around here get it and don't care at all about bat flips.
  13. [expletive] players seem to dominate the Cubs, such as Wilmer Flores, Billy Hamilton, that [expletive] backup catcher and this [expletive] guy. I went to the Cards/Padres game Thursday and the fans near me were bitching about them getting owned by Alexei Ramirez this year. Seems like there's some scrub who dominates against just about every team.
  14. I've been on board with many of these, but that just looks like bacon wrapped vomit.
  15. Man, that's a terrific effort by both Contreras and Warren to make that play. Great hustle just to get to the spots and fantastic execution.
  16. Structural integrity; if the hope is to eat that as a sandwich, surely it would collapse if you're trying to pick it up and it's been soaking in maple syrup. Probably best to cook it in with the pancake in this situation. I think the best solution is to just get a big bowl of maple syrup for dipping prior to each bite. Problem solved!
  17. Yep, there's no telling what that is. Nope, in spite of the delicious bacon and Brie.
  18. It's Mike Shannon, so yes, likely drunk. Also needs to be punched in the dick because he seemingly intentionally mispronounces player's names. Maddox instead of Maddux most notably.
  19. Seriously, nothing beats a well made custard filled doughnut with a nice chocolate covering on top. So good.

  21. Speaking of laying someone out to die, possibly the most memorable big hit of my life was when Singletary just destroyed whoever the backup QB from Dallas was. Just drilled him as he was sliding and that dude's head hit the turf HARD.
  22. Also, you people are too young. #Sweetnessforlyfe
