That's a Cubs fan talking. Pujols is a once in a generation type of player. If he doesn't have a catastrophic injury, by the time he is done he will be mentioned among the greatest hitters to ever play. He hasn't even reached his prime yet. I don't know if Pujols has reached his prime or not, and Lee undeniably had a better year last year, but PECOTA projects that Pujols will be worth 2.5 wins more than Lee this year and 15 more wins than Lee over the next five years. Straight up, I'd trade Lee for Pujols in a heartbeat.
