  1. Is it just me, or is the worst compliment ever given? Call me crazy, but if Amare didn't have a jumper, the number of teams who'd wish they had drafted him would go down. That Fukudome is a beast. He's Ichiro without the ability to hit.
  2. HI fellas... It is the NSBB League on CBS. Each team consists of 23 players and up tp 10 minor leaguers. If you're interested, please PM moochpuppy.
  3. Anyone interested in taking over a team in a keeper baseball league? Current champion left the league immediately after winning it all. Because of league rules, it would benefit to have a new owner in place asap. I realize that it's fantasy football season, but in a keeper league, you need to be somewhat involved year round. This team has a loaded roster, but with keeper rules, the new owner will be faced with some tough decisions. Please post here if you're interested.
  4. Hey, I'm interested in how badly we'll get beaten down by Vandy.. . . . . Remember when beating Vandy was not even a question? Sad. Seriously, if Tennessee played Vandy, MTSU, Memphis, and Chattanooga, they'd probably go 2-2.
  5. Calling Tennessee-Vanderbilt a "game of interest" is an insult to the word "game". And "interest".
  6. Wonder fi we could re-recruit someone like Banedon, or someone else who's been involved in the past?
  7. Yeah. What's new? :banghead:
  8. I wonder if this could be stickied?
  9. Hosak gets 500 SCP from Dawg Pound.
  10. Hey man... check your pm. Check it out and let me know.
  11. Whoever takes over has their work cut out for them, for sure, as that team will be decimated by point cap. Whoever takes over also could benefit by getting involved now so that they can make some moves to prevent the utter destruction of that roster.
  12. In our last deal, SoCal receives Heath Bell, 17 points, and the 33rd pick Hosak receives Francisco Rodriguez.
  13. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?playerId=5641 3.41 ERA/1.28WHIP/29 Saves last year. In the pen, perhaps. At the end of the pen, no thanks. 8 losses (9 blown saves) from the guy at the end of the pen is not what I want to see.
  14. That's a heck of a rumor . . . :-)) From MrSEC.com - a very good website for those who are interested in the goings on around the SEC. For the record, John Pennington is an imbecile. Maybe Cowher would have interest (and yes, I've heard the rumors since the day he left Pittsburgh), but Pennington is still an asshat of epic proportions.
  15. Names you will hear: Davis and Leach. Lane Kiffin Will Muschamp Tim Brewster Chris Petersen and, yes, Jon Gruden. (Gruden was a GA at Tennessee under Majors, and his wife is from nearby Sevierville. There is a rumor out there that Gruden was asked if he'd listen to Tennessee about the job, and that his reply was that he would listen. Didn't claim interest, just said that he'd listen.)
  16. In the 3 way trade, Roady receives 350 SC from Dawg Pound and Dawg Pounds 4th rounder (43). Dawg Pound receives Hosak's 5th rounder (50). And Hosak receives Roady's 3rd Rounder (33).
  17. These are the details of a 3-way trade completed between Hosak, Dawg Pound and Roady. Roady gets 350 SCP and the 43rd pick. Dawg Pound gets the 50th pick, Connor Jackson, Justin Masterson, Steve Pearce, and Rafael Furcal Hosak gets the 33rd pick and David Ortiz. (This way, when you see the trades, you're not incredulous as to why they were agreed upon.)
  18. What if we take out DG and JJ, remove al picks except for me giving you the 5th rounder?
  19. SEC Favorite Tennessee: PG- Bobby Maze SG- Scotty Hopson SF- JP Prince PF- Tyler Smith C- Wayne Chism
  20. The streak over Kentucky is 24 years. Longest in the NCAA. Fulmer's job is already gone, if you believe some people close to the program. The question is, will he retire, or will he make Hamilton fire him?
  21. Why isn't this showing up on the league page?
  22. Dude, have you checked your PM's lately? Let me know something, please.
  23. Something to be aware of... With the new rule regarding trading of Salary Cap Points, it is important to be on top of your rosters much earlier than in the past. To know how many points you need or can spare, you need to know who you will be keeping. Of course, you don't have to release anyone now, but it is helpful to know who you plan to keep so that you can be involved in SCP trades. If you wait until March to get your roster plans set, you will most certainly miss out on plenty of action. This new rule may create an unprecedented number of offseason trades, so don't hurt yourself by checking out until March.
  24. Check my offer to you. It involves SCP and draft picks.
  25. Well, that sucks... He really is calling it a year early. That gives him 3 1st rounders next year, and certainly the top pick. But, that trade gives me an idea!
