He did a good job of working the count, but I can't call any AB where the player had a runner on 3rd and 1 out and doesn't get them home (and doesn't get on base himself) a great AB. Yes, it was about as an AB goes without getting the runner home. Yeah, that was my idea. It's a shame he didn't get the runner home, but he showed great strike zone discipline and laid off some really close pitches. EDIT: Especially compared to how Mabry went about his abomination of an at-bat.
