  1. Because then they'd get some of that talent? Those kids aren't gonna go sit on the bench at Kentucky behind the other kids that are staying. I maybe in the minority here as well, but I'd prefer the'05 type team we had to what UK had last year. Yeah wedding win it all, but we came very close and we saw those kids grow up together. Thus to me the jourey was very rewarding. Watching Deron stick a dagger in Arizona was showing quite bit of growth from the kid who as a freshman clanked two free throws to lose a game against Memphis. It's very rewarding to see kids grow up.
  2. No, not everyone wants college basketball to be pro basketball. Hasn't your boy Self even publicly stated he doesn't like the rule? He's also stated he wants the players paid. I think he's even getting tired of cal and his shades of grey.
  3. Can't argue with that one. Eh, he hasn't done anything meaningful in the last 4 years, it seems like it's one injury after another and he's going on 31. But add him to DeJesus and BJack and we'd have one sexy outfield.
  4. I love how he pussed out when Gerlad Wallace got in his face. KG only fights midgets.
  5. I wish we could find a talented 25 year old to put on the field. ... and you wonder why people get tired of this kind of post. I guess you read something in this post that certainly wasn't there. Because you haven't been taking shots whenever you can at the current regime?
  6. I think Javy will be up whenever the hell he wants to be up.
  7. I wish we could find a talented 25 year old to put on the field. I'd rather have 2 guys under 25, one of which is a top 5 player at his position (Castro) and another could well be a top 10 at his position after the year (Rizzo). No way will the cubs ever make that happen though.
  8. Agreed, it was the right move.

  10. I take no joy in Mike Brey doing well.
  11. I love steroids and wish they were back in the game. Sammy kicked all kinds of butt.
  12. FFS georgia tech is making every three they throw up.
  13. Flex position. Ppr league should I go with Reggie Wayne or Chris Johnson?
  14. I'm not sure what relevance that has to my post . . . If it was unclear, I didn't think it was, I was re-trolling SSR about officiating (hence, the direct quote at the end). Oh, lol crap I missed that. Well played. Also is Roy gonna miss two tourneys in five years? This UNC team isn't looking very good at all.
  15. you'll probably be the best team going forward for all time. Oh wait John Calipari will put out a better team pretty much every year.
  16. Better get as many points in that uniform in while he can. SSR is amazing. All other trolls can't compete.
  17. I enjoy your offensive pace, but you don't defend worth a damn. But we defended fine against the bad teams. Isn't va tech bad?

  19. Agreed, I love feeling confident that we will at least get a shot off at the end of games. Too many times the past five years we would turn the be all over or go for a two down three with not time left. Seems like they take a lot less bad 2s, but it could be that they simply get to the end of the shot clock less. I think we mask a lot of our issues by playing fast. The guys don't have time to make as many mistakes in this pace.

  21. A win's a win. We're a flawed team, but at least we kept the bad loss off our resume. We have to improve against the zone though. True, we need to take care of the ball better. Plus we can't have Abrams and Egwu having their horrible games together like that. We need to go kill ga tech now. Do you think last years' squad would have won this game? Because winning something like the Maui Classic and then, turning around and losing to the likes of Gardner Webb was par for the course the last few seasons. No. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have won this or the Hawaii game.

  23. That is Griffey's strength though. That shot wasn't a fluke. But yeah, I doubt he went with that as his first option.
