    It will be Dustys fault for not playing Barrett and Cedeno. The Valentin brothers are terrible human beings. At this point, I don't think Cedeno being out of the lineup hurts the Cubs. Although I do want to see him play everyday still so he can improve. you think neifi does more in a lineup than cedeno? i wonder if baker is sitting him because of the botched dp yesterday... No, I think they both are bad. Neifi's OPS is higher than Cedeno's, not that it matters. I just don't think having Cedeno playing right now makes this team any better. It does for the future and since this year is already done, I say we play for the future.

    What do you think it would take to get Lane? Guzman? Nevin? Ryu? Williams? Williamson? I dunno, just throwing names around. I'd love to land Lane. If we trade Guzman for Lane I hope we are all forced to be remided of it everytime he shuts down our lineup in the next few years. Those other guys I would do.

    Teahen (.356/.505 the last 30 days) hasn't been that bad either. Yeah the trip to Omaha really did wonders for him so far. Maybe that is what Ronny needs right now.

    They aren't gonna trade DeJesus. All I see around town are his shirts and jerseys. He is their franchise player. I would rather have him then Carl Crawford. You know how they have been playing real well lately? That's mainly because DeJesus came back from the DL.

    Hughes is a year away. Assuming health, he'll pitch many more innings this season than he has in his professional career. With a guy like him (especially considering his injury history), the Yankees should take it easy with him. They can more easily monitor his pitch counts in the minors. If he gets called up, they'll be tempted to overuse him and tax his arm for a pennant run. Holy crap Martinez is a whale. He resembles Pedro Martinez, but just a bigger. He may have ate Pedro. I am slowly becoming a Royals fan.

    I had being telling my dad, a huge yankee fan, how great Hughes is. I better be quiet for a little while still. I thought he might be able to help them this year, now I am doubting it.

    neifi will be playing everyday soon enough. I'm probably Neifi's biggest critic but if Cedeno doesn't come around after the break they can't let him keep looking like he has lately. Let Cedeno have the whole year, what is it gonna hurt at this juncture? Neifi should be dfad I'm okay with Neifi being DFA'd but I don't think you can let Cedeno be this lost for the rest of the year. It will destroy any confidence he has ever had. What we really need is someone to work with him. We could call that guy a "hitting coach". Well that maybe true, but I don't think we wan him anywhere near the guy we are currently calling hitting coach.

    cool, is the element a hybrid? the best part of XM is hot stove, well that and getting games on the road(but if you get WGN radio that doesnt really matter) is E Patt in the starting lineup, i havent heard his name yet(although im switching back and forth from the cubs game) nope epatt isnt starting, kendrick is.

    The Daily is pumping for a LA team to Z! Yellow journalism at its finest. Of course if the Dodgers or Angels want to give the Cubs their top 5 prospects Hendry ought to think about it. If those 5 are overall top 50 guys that is. Chad Billingsley, Matt Kemp, Scott Elbert, and Joel Guzman would be a nice starting point. Wow dealing Z would make the big league team completely unwatchable.
