That would be the smart move. They can't until they hear back from the appeal process. Which prolly will be on Monday. he could have dropped his appeal. Man he sucker punched the guy on national tv. I loved it, but he prolly should have gotten more games for having the gall to appeal. Everybody appeals no matter what they do, Kenny Rogers appealed beating up a camera man and got it reduced. True. -

Well I saw Joel Zumaya hit 104 on the gun twice against the Reds. Griffey jacked him for a GS on the second one. That was pretty great.

I bet Ron could have stood at the plate yesterday on his prosthetic legs and poked a hit to bring Bynum home... I thought the reason we have all of this speed was to squeeze and stuff, with Cedeno up that might have been worth a try. It's too bad Dusty has already mailed this year in since he has the Wood-Prior built in excuse he starts every year with.

And KC just hired Dayton Moore. :( Yeah but in the paper down here(KC), Dan Glass says that he will still have a big say in what goes on. Dan likes to think since his dad, David is rich, that somehow makes him a smart baseball guy. My point being, KC might be last, but they have a bright future ahead of them. Not if Dan Glass is helping them with their draft picks and personel choices.

He hasn't had all his horses healthy dude Who cares. You realize most 5th graders would now to play Todd Walker everyday when the back up option is Neifi Perez. How many managers would continue to run Glendon Rusch out to the bump as a starter?

Just how can anyone that is sane bring Dusty back next year, hell how can you let him finish this year? With the payroll we have finishing down here would be a travesty.

But Neifi will start. Of course he will Dusty is free to do whatever he wants. He ruined our team. Ruined it. He took our hero and drove him out of town(Sosa), yet he keeps garbage like Perez around. He pitched Wood and Prior so hard they are shells of what they should be. He sits productive big leaguers like Todd Walker. He cost us the playoffs two years ago by insisting on letting Hawkins blow game after game down the stretch when everone, LaTroy included was calling for someone else to close. He cost us going to the World Series by allowing Mike Lowell to hit instead of Lenny Harris. You know the same Lenny Harris who hit .183 for us including several games at leadoff. I am done with the Cubs until he is fired. He has ruined my passion for baseball.

Out yesterday and today for no apparent reason. He did ph yesterday. Great...cause we couldn't use his bat. Seriously...since Nevin has joined the team, has there been one game where Walker played second, Nevin played first, Barrett Caught and we didn't have Bynum stuck somewhere in the outfield? I don't think there has... Why would we do that and optimize our chances to win. I love it when a bad team handicaps itself even further.

must've been a mix up with the new Motorola wireless command center You really have to love that the Cubs are celebrating having cell phones. Something high school age girls have had for almost a decade now. This organization hates new fangled thinking like cell phones and OPS.

Well that would be illogical. So you are right it will probably happen. that is the frame of mind one must get into when thinking of what Dusty might do. it's a dark dark state of mind to be in. yeah I always have to make sure to not watch a cubs game before I go into work. if I stay in that state of mind I can't skate by. At my workplace we have accountability.
