  1. Kerry Wood
  2. Earl Cunningham I read an article not to long ago talking about how he might have been the most talented 5 tool high schooler ever taken. Sadly he then ate the article and swung a bat at the reporter. Luckily for the reporter he could move and thus broke away and Earl made no contact.
  3. Patterson in 04 Corey had 32 in 04. And change my question to 35 steals in a season. Maybe Sammy?
  4. Nice cut, I used to love pitching to the little kids who swang down while their butts went towards third. Ah little leaguers.
  5. Why is Jacque starting against Pettite? Is it because I lose a point in fantasy for every K? Thanks Cobs ruin baseball in everyway for me this year.
  6. Burke is a nice little Biggio start up kit for next year.
  7. Don't say something you can't take back. I wouldn't want to see Greg's stats in Minute Maid.
  8. Next year we should just pitch Z everyday until his arm falls off. I think we could win 85-90 that way.
  9. Aramis is just playing it out right now. LOL
  10. Zambrano is the best pitcher in the world. He is gonna win more than 15 games on this group of guys who play baseball badly.
  11. I wish someone would run over Biggio with a bus.
  12. Worst. Joke. Ever. eh he wouldn't be so bad now that we never have baserunners.
  13. It'll be more Soriano-like than anything I'd suppose. I'm not so sure about that...Soriano still has a career .280 average while Dunn's career average is only .248. Harvey's OPS would probably be slightly lower than both of them because he doesn't have the kind of contact skills that Soriano has, and I don't think he'll draw as many walks as Dunn. So I guess a combo of both...Soriano's walk totals with Dunn's average, power, and K's. Oh so bad then?
  14. Is that aimed at me? I just think some of the argument are, well, crap. Nah more just a general thought.
  15. Even if you are the biggest Twalk fan in the world. Wouldn't you think today you would just shut up about it?
  16. Well after this debacle and the inevitable sweep at the habds of the Stros, Dusty has to be gone soon, he just has to be.
  17. Defensively maybe, but Walker's better offensively. Oh yes his three homers are carrying us.
  18.        x infinity. Whatever, I don't see how you can defend him, he's not a good fielder. Today's game not withstanding, the attacks on his defense are VASTLY overdone. VASTLY. That's just ridiculous. He's one of the worst 2B at turning the double play. I'm tired of the argument about his fielding percentage because that doesn't tell the story. He doesn't get to most balls and, again, he usually doesn't position himself well enough to turn the DP which is crucial for his position. His reputation is well earned (and judging by the Cubs inability to move him in the offseason, other teams feel that his offense does not outweigh his defensive miscues). NEVIN! Walker's offense isn't that good either Are you joking? You must be joking. He's conistetnly been one of the top 5 offensive 2B in the game over the last few years. His only knock offensively is that he struggles against lefties. Give me Grudz back anyday.
