    he would have been out by 20 feet, and he couldn't see into the future to know that jones and lee were going to choke. A better question would be why was Jacque batting third. He is a terrible, terrible hitter. he's not THAT bad. You show me a team Jacque Jones is batting third on and I will show you a team that picks in the first five of the draft the next year.

    It seem there are more kids at the ball park on Sundays always. It was like that last Monday and Tuesday at Wrigley. :( It's usually like that at the K too. I didn't think people went to games there. Usually not a lot do. It's too bad too, it's a beautiful park.

    This doesnt make ANY sense. Its as if you are looking for ways to bitch about lou. The Riot's and Izturis, Cedeno's playing time has NOTHING to do with Murton. Unless Murton carries an infielders glove this is absolutely irrelevant to the discussion. Or Soriano could play 2nd and Jacque CF and Murton RF. You know to get Cedeno out of there. Oh thats right how could i forget. Those guys play those postions all the time and its 2005 for Soriano. 30 minutes of Fungo practice with Trammell will do the trick for Soriano. Piece of cake. It is worth a try for a 3 game series. Over the entire season we would have to promote Patterson, but I don't think this would kill us every now and again.

    he recently signed an extension w/ the brewers. Recently as in 2 years ago? Hes a FA after next year. Brewers should trade him for Hughes and Tabata after this season. There is no way the Yankees do that trade.

    Which is why my daughters first game will be at Miller Park to see the Brewers. My wife thinks I'm crazy b/c I will not allow any Cubs clothes be given to our new born. The Brewers aren't exactly the model of a successful franchise. At least make them Yankees fans! Sure and give him a pack of cigs on his 3rd birthday too. The Yankees are evil.

    Reminds me of another Cubs manager. so i guess you guys would be satisfied if murton started but we were losing?? How does the poor-fielding old dude with a .746 OPS help us win more than starting Murton would? Magics. most likely Black Magics.

    Does the sample size argument only work when it is directed toward Floyd? When did Murton become the LF of the future? All throughout Spring Training, Lou said that Murton would be the main LFer. main LF in '07 is not even close to being the LF of the future. He's right that title is Ryan Harvey's lol.

    Shouldn't we have Murton running for Floyd? I thought the same thing when he was on second, but now I don't see too much of a point, except for defense. Yeah now it doesn't matter unless we have a wild pitch.
