  1. I really don't think anyone said that, surely. Oh I think you had better re-read some threads then. I believe what they said was in a few years Deron Williams will be carrying Eric Gordon's bags. Lol. Deron Williams is a Steve Nash away from being the best pg in the league. Notice I said pg, not sg playing the position. Gilbert, I am looking at you. No offense to Deron because if I was picking a point guard for the future, he would be the one, but right now I would take Jason Kidd as the #2 behind Nash. I watched that Illinois team a ton during the year they made the run at going undefeated and I always liked the way he ran that team and ran that offense. He was always in control when he had the ball and consistently made good decisions. You really think Kidd is still better than him? Plus Ason Kidd might be the worst shooter in the NBA. Reguardless Dwill is in the conversation and is only going to get better. Kidd brings the rebounding also. But yeah, in another year or two Williams is likely ahead of Kidd. Probably in a couple of years, Williams will be ahead of Nash too (doesn't mean Williams will be the best PG in the league then, though). Who do you see coming that is even close? Mayo?? Maybe, but I think he will end up a 2. Yeah, there's enough talented players in next year's draft class to be able to say that in a 2-3 years, one of them could be the best PG in the league. I don't think they will be better in two years at 20, than Deron Williams will be at that point in his prime.

  3. there is no such thing as clutch Sure there is. Clutch hitting exists. Clutch hitters do not. Maybe you've never heard of Derek Jeter? The clutchiest man of all time.
  4. He is hitting .390. We need some more guys to press. He was hitting .424 last week. And you thought that would hold up? He also has a 17 game hit streak. Yes, I was hoping he'd make a run at Rogers Hornsby DLee better start by just staring out his window during the winter while waiting for the spring.

  7. you do drugs sulley? it's 4 runs, we have 6 outs, it's not that farfetched. We are the Cubs, but other than that I agree.
  8. Just let Z hit, then take him out. Man Lou is terrible.
  9. I believe it. Wild card, anyone? Atlanta and New York laugh at that notion.
  10. Nah...this game is lost..he figures Z is going on the DL...needs to save the pen for the rest of the trip. Who was that middle reliever Lou let give up like 12 homers to the Yankees in one inning?
  11. 3 good pitchers. I definitely wouldn't call any of them HOF pitchers. I think Wood and Prior definitely had HOF potential. I don't think Zambrano was ever that good. I think you are underestimating Z big time.
  12. He isn't worth it. Let him snort his money up his nose again, get in debt, and then come back to ruin another organization. Please let it be the cardinals.
  13. So basically we have been given three aces the past 6-7 years. We then ruined all of them with abuse. Nice.
  14. Well I wonder how many more of these outings we are going to let Z have until the organization admits he is hurt?
  15. Paul freaking Maholm. Well done Cubs. Only you could lose a game with Zambrano opposing Paul Maholm.
