    How is Adam Jones rated above Billy Butler? Is it just out of fear of Butler not having a position?

    They are not an exact science. Heck Raisin posted a thing where 5 years ago Miguel Cabrera was only the 5th best player in his league. Think there ended up being 5 better big leaguers from that league?

    Oh yeah, that will work. Showing up at his house will do two things. Make him think we are creepy or desperate and will get you arrested.

    Arizona could only get better. Carlos Gonzalez, Max Scherzer, Brett Anderson, and the pitcher they drafted this year(can't remember his name) are only going to help a young improving team. That said a lot can happen.

    that article's all well and good, but shard was a turner recruit. Yeah, but he signed with the first group of Zook's guys. Since Turner had been fired. I think that is where the confusion came in.

    I get what you mean by this, but honestly with the money these guys make they would have bought those tickets and just tossed them had they won, without even batting an eye. That and they probably had someone else in charge of that for them anyways.

    :roll: I don't buy into this at all. I would have gave anything to get to a game 5. In a game 5 anything could happen. Sure Webb is good but this same crap offense beat him already once this year.

    Cause they have a big following, much like Notre Dame has with all of their games still on.I could post the ND coverage map again... Actually it's because I'm unfortunate enough to live in the Indy market. OU/Texas is on and I'm stuck with this. Yeah that does suck.

    i feel pretty good about michigan. ohio state will be a bloodbath, slugfest, whatever you want to call it. the illini generally play tosu well. while I am thrilled we are actually a decent team this year, a year ahead of schedule, we are not going to go into the horseshoe and win. Are we?

    we've got a lot of baseball left. Yea we do we have 2008, 2009, 2010, etc... just wish we had more left in 2007 Well I still am gonna enjoy what is left. Who knows how long it will be until we get back.

I actually heard him say on the radio during the Indians Yankees game that he had managed twice in the World Series. Both times Lofton was on his team. You know with the Giants and Cubs. HAH, I heard that too. That's the difference between normal people like us exaggerating our accomplishments and someone like him doing it. I was saying the same thing to Scarlett Johansson while having sex with her last night. I thought I hear someone else talking.

    One of these years we will accidentally hire a real manager. One that says, the hell with playing the veteran let's play the guy who gives us the best chance to win. It has been almost 100 years. We don't need anymore handicaps.

    Santo also had a seperate bottle from everyone else. hell for all they know it could have been NA beer.

    It wasn't Z, it was an off Ted Lilly. They didn't get enough to win. The offense had a chance to step up and try and keep them in the game vs. a bad pitcher and couldn't b/c the 3 best hitters were as bad as Lilly was. Yeah the big three are terrible. Out of them the only one I really thought could carry us was Ramirez anyway. The way I look at it we are paying a lot of money for two slightly above average players in Soriano and Lee.
