We got 4 runs off of Davis, that should have been enough. Lilly crapped the bed. Lilly sucked, it doesn't change the fact the Cubs had a piss poor approach and should've did more against a pitcher with the stuff Davis had last night. We should have got more, but we did get enough to win. 4 runs would have been enough for Z to cruise to a victory.

snood there is only one thing you can do now with that girl at work. take her out, get her drunk, and then leave her on the side of the road. There is one other thing I can think of but it involves things that will get me banned for typing. My girlfriend is a cardinals fan, she is cheering for the cubs. She even got excited for me when we went up 2-0. When Young homered I went outside to throw the trash away. When I got back she went to bed. She is very smart. Today she just told me, hey you aren't beat yet. Haven't even lost a home game yet. Silly optimism of a cardinal fan.

Just win the next game in front of you. You win you keep playing. Trying to think of it as three in a row can add more pressure. We can't get all three at once. Although it is the same thing with making up 5 or 6 runs and this team still swings for the 7 run homer.

If he puts up anything less than his Iowa line this year, I'll be real disappointed in him. Also, Carlos Marmol will move to the rotation and STILL have an ERA under 2. Or else. Soto hasn't been good enough to help the team win in the postseason. Next postseason will just be a repeat of this again. except odds are we won't be in it.
