    He left Utah to "take care of his ailing daughter," then immediately signed back with the Lakers. Then pretty much did the same thing to Dallas this year. He's trash.

    The Miami Heat official NBA facebook page posted: Breaking News, Derrick Rose will be ready for game 6! Such a classy organization.

    His fastball velocity has been down 2.2 MPH from last year. A little bit of that might be early-season effect, but that's still noticeable. Add it all up, and that does not sound good. Maybe not good for Price, but probably good for the Cubs. How so? That it's happening before we traded for him?

    I probably will be "crying." Our schedule is brutal, and we're young. We will lose a few games before conference starts up.     When does poppa Wiggins get announced as Dooley's replacement? Seriously though, Kansas is going to be freaking loaded next year. Which will make snood crying about how bad they are early on even funnier.

    I know it had the Prior/Wood injuries, but '04 was what I think of when I think of the dream team rotation, with Maddux instead of Estes. 2004 didn't happen Let's also pretend that '05 and '06 didn't happen.

    What? No. Either way, I thought it was going to be a triple off the bat. That's odd. I kind of did at first since the right fielder was playing so far off the line. but, he got to the ball really quick.

    Straburg gets that strike two pitch to Rizzo all game we might as well just go home.

    One of the big things I hope we get out of this season is Shark being able to make all of his starts and build up his innings. Since for years he was a middle reliever. Taking him out of the rotation would be a very foolish move.

    And you are letting one month make you think that is impossible to still be true? Not that I am saying it's true, I just don't want to get so caught up in a month's worth of games.

    I want Gray. I love velocity. But there's more to pitching than just velocity and Appel appears to have an advantage in most other categories will having good velocity himself. Oh, it's irrational. I'm cool with either guy.
