  1. Harden was/is a lot better than I thought.
  2. If you're OKC you wanna get fire power or a defender on the wing. That's why I liked that they picked that center. Jalen Rose gets paid to do this. Probably in crack.
  3. He's the best ESpn has to offer for basketball. He just thought Jrue Holiday was on the Timberwolves In his defense he is [expletive]. And now he said Utah hasn't had a PG since John Stockton He's right, they've never even played one. They've actually been playing 4 on 5 the entire time.

  5. So I assume that the sixers will pick Burke and trade him for Noel?
  6. No one wants to trade up, everyone wants to trade down.
  7. I like those two and Burke.
  8. How did Ben fall so far?
  9. Daytona playing a double header?
  10. I want Jorge Alfaro plus. Perez and Burns. I was under the impression that Martin Perez has seen his stock fall big time? That's part of the reason you can get him for half a season of Garza. There's obviously a scouting component where you want to be sure you aren't just taking on a guy because he used to be good, but that's the type of player I'd look for with these rental deals. Guys higher in the minors who have maybe fallen out of favor because of some minor performance issues, injury, general front office stupidity, etc. Guys like Perez, Duffy, Skaggs. Get them, get a quality relief prospect to go along with them, and you're doing a really good job to add depth for next year and beyond while balancing out the farm system a bit. True, I'd love to get Duffy. I felt like he was figuring it out last year before he got hurt. I'm no scout, but man he looked good in person. Hopefully they panic and sell him.

  12. I think you're only allowed two. The royals had three last year, but that might be because they were the host team? Guess I was mistaken. I think you're correct for everyone but the host city.

  14. But if he can't correct his vision he has a chance as a pitcher? I'd think it'd be just as, if not more important for a pitcher, would it not? I've heard the problem is he can't pick up spin on a pitched ball, how would that hurt him as a pitcher?
  15. How long does KG have left? I'm also not high at all on Dwight Howard anymore.
  16. I wonder how long until the Royals try Bubba as a pitcher? If the vision correction process doesn't work I can't see him advancing much as a hitter.
  17. I love that the system has so many up the middle players. Keep adding them please.
  18. If the trade goes down apparently Blake+Bledsoe are going to the Lakers for Dwight on a S&T. I don't understand how all of these moves make the Clippers any better.
  19. I don't think it's an insult though. He's so much better than all of his peers, that's why we expect so much more out of him. If anything I want him to run the league for the next five years, he's much better than Kobe Bryant and thus I hope he gets enough titles that no one can try to rate Kobe higher.
  20. Like in '91 when that selfish MJ averaged only 11 assists per game in the finals? Or for his career when he averaged 6 assists per game in the finals? Share the ball. If MJ was a cardinal you'd still be giving him random standing ovations. IN fact you would have probably all went to Illinois games a few years ago to cheer him when he showed up to watch Jeffrey. So like twice. Yo, what on earth are you talking about? You know I'm like, a crazy Bulls fan, right? *Don't get the fact that I'm not a dumb rube who believes they're better than they are and criticizes their personnel shortcomings twisted; I am a huge Bulls fan. I care more about the Bulls than the Cardinals by quite a bit. Not to mention the fact that I didn't say anything about Michael Jordan. If I did, it would be something like, "Michael Jordan is such a uniquely impressive and successful competitor that we need to just eliminate him from the LeBron (and every other active player) conversation until further notice because it's not a fair comparison." You need to stop participating in this thread if you're going to take LeBron's success and admirable basketball abilities like an attack on your close personal friend, Michael Jordan. What you do need to do is get a grip and have some [expletive] perspective when you're discussing basketball. Evaluate the player. LeBron moves the ball more than a traditional ISO scoring wing player. Period. No one who knows anything about basketball would disagree with that. What does that have to do with how he compares to Michael Jordan as a "winner?" Nothing, you moron. It just says they are different types of players. *It's entirely possible you put zero context of my posting history into this reply and you had no idea that I'm a Bulls fan, because you really probably are that irrational judging by your own posting history. Good lord, the cardinal thing was a joke. I even dissed Jordan as a parent in it, I thought that was pretty obvious. LeBron is a stud, I love watching him play, I just don't understand why now everyone is so quick to dismiss what Jordan did. It's like just because he's an [expletive] we can't all be in awe of him as a basketball player anymore. Which is funny as LeBron is just as big of an [expletive]. I do sometimes watch games that LeBron has played in and come away wanting more because of how insanely talented he is. I would say that's a credit to him more than anything else. I also do expect him to run Through the NBA now, hell even he did himself when came with his speech about number of titles. So he brings a lot of the expectations on himself. As for the personal attack on me, GFY.

  22. Yes I do. He was 24-11 in the finals. Averaged 34/6/6 with superior efficiency for a high volume guard and won mvp in every appearence. I dont understand your point, if he wasnt invincible in the finals who bested him? The cool thing to do now is pretend Michael Jordan wasn't Michael Jordan.
  23. Man this has been an entertaining series.
