I want Jorge Alfaro plus. Perez and Burns. I was under the impression that Martin Perez has seen his stock fall big time? That's part of the reason you can get him for half a season of Garza. There's obviously a scouting component where you want to be sure you aren't just taking on a guy because he used to be good, but that's the type of player I'd look for with these rental deals. Guys higher in the minors who have maybe fallen out of favor because of some minor performance issues, injury, general front office stupidity, etc. Guys like Perez, Duffy, Skaggs. Get them, get a quality relief prospect to go along with them, and you're doing a really good job to add depth for next year and beyond while balancing out the farm system a bit. True, I'd love to get Duffy. I felt like he was figuring it out last year before he got hurt. I'm no scout, but man he looked good in person. Hopefully they panic and sell him.

Yes I do. He was 24-11 in the finals. Averaged 34/6/6 with superior efficiency for a high volume guard and won mvp in every appearence. I dont understand your point, if he wasnt invincible in the finals who bested him? The cool thing to do now is pretend Michael Jordan wasn't Michael Jordan.
