  1. my guess is next year And will probably help towards only one AL East team making the playoffs this year. 80-85 wins this season would not surprise me one bit nope...next season will be nasty for them though as long as health is good... kazmir price shields garza neimann? that is a gross gross gross rotation if they could just land another outfielder they would be really intimidating Davis is prob. a better bet long-term than Neimann, of course there's still McGee (who would be the Cubs best prospect) and Hellickson as well. I hope they lockup Kamzir and Crawford longterm as well. and they pick first in the upcoming draft as well.
  2. Sheets leaves after 5. Announcers speculating he could be hurt.
  3. 0-2, dude. MIght be time to get Hatteberg 7 starts in a row to stay fresh.
  4. Dusty's Reds are destroying the Brew Crew tonight.
  5. Utah vs Cleveland Cleveland wins it all We are all witnesses. In all seriousness I bet Stern already has informed the officials that LA and Boston will be meeting for the title.
  6. That'd be great if that was the reason he didn't look as good in ST and earlier in extended ST. Maybe there is a rhyme and reason to what the Cubs do. I don't care about their rhyme or reason. Should have picked Porcello.
  7. I think he's ready to get promoted to the Angels. They can't just take the Cubs AAAA players without compensation. Dave Littlefield doesn't work for us anymore. Did he ever really work for you guys before? He did some good things for us. More awful than good to be sure. But, some things were good. His drafts set you back 15 years.
  8. McClouth is really good. But, I did not think that ball was gone off of the bat.
  9. I am just messing with him, I would say most on this board are pretty good about seeing the huge flaws on our own team. It ain't about seeing the flaws. It's about temping the fates!!! Those terrible little harpies lurking around in the shadows that come to life at the first sound of Cubs fans taunting any other team. I don't believe in that crap. I had a whole freaking year of Kansas fans teasing and prodding at me about how bad my team is and how great they are and they win a national title. I don't buy into that crap at all anymore.

  11. Good for you. We have won a lot of games this year. I think he was just trying to explain Lou's move. On the other hand if you're just giving him crap, carry on. I know I was just messing with him.
  12. Good for you. We have won a lot of games this year.
  13. You need to watch the Giants play. touche Actually don't it's painful. They make me wish I didn't have EI.
  14. Not surprising, they've done great work in that department this year. Gerald Perry has been a big help to this team. And in my mind we've already won a couple of games because of walks. I agree, we have made real progress and the more Soriano is out the higher we will go in this.
  15. You'd rather have Pie? Yes, I would rather have the 23 year old kid get consistant playing time so come this off season we know if he is ready to be our cf of the future. As it is going now we are going to be in the same spot as we were this past off season.
  16. Awesome Johnson going against another righty today.
  17. I bet Kevin Love has a pretty good career and suprises a lot of people.
  18. Let him hit for himself then take him out.
  19. Man everytime I watch Keppinger hit it makes me smile. The Kansas City Royals cut that guy. The same Royals who run out mr .285obp Tony Pena Jr. for 500 abs a year at short. He must be gloving in runs.
