I can't believe the way they make me feel. I don't like when the Cubs/Packers lose big games, but I actually get more angry when the Cardinals win than when my teams lose. I just don't care anymore. My father in law is getting is meatball going on Facebook. I'm about to troll his ass hard about banging his daughter, makes me feel better.

That's what it felt like last year: A's, Nationals, Orioles. 2011 was setup for a Disney ending. Hamilton hitting a world series winning homer. Seems like lately baseball hasn't given us the great story.

Hopefully it's the Dodgers, that way St. Louis getting a competitive balance pick won't feel so wrong. It'll still feel wrong.

I blame Washington's ridiculous handling of Strasburg last year for that more than I blame STL. They were just the lucky bastards that got to play them. Yeah that's true. I still wish a big leaguer would have got the big hit though, not Pete Kozma.

Fully expecting a complete game 4-hitter from Wainwright on Wednesday. Why? He's really good and I don't trust the pirates offense? Well, Cole's pitching for the Pirates, and he's pretty good too I didn't say they'd lose, I like where your head is.

Even worse than my extremely low expectations thus far. Dan Guerrero is just an awful AD. That much is becoming quite clear. I mean it's UCLA, why all the settling for mediocrity? The more time passes since the school was elite, the less weight the name will carry with potential recruits. While I agree, in the last 8 years they produced 8 Final Fours and produced 2 of the top 10 players in the NBA. They aren't what they were, but I don't think anyone can be that now. 3 Final Fours, not 8. Lol, yeah I spaced there.

The more time passes since the school was elite, the less weight the name will carry with potential recruits. While I agree, in the last 8 years they produced 8 Final Fours and produced 2 of the top 10 players in the NBA. They aren't what they were, but I don't think anyone can be that now. Well no, obviously no one is going to be the Wooden era Bruins, but UCLA is a program that should be on the Duke/UK/Kansas level far more often than not. It just seems like it's been hit and mostly miss lately. And like the elites, they should be poaching the top coaches/coaching prospects in the sport, not hiring guys like Steve mf'ing Alford. Yeah agreed. Although this latest group of guys that seem to be elite are strange. Wanting to stay at Butler, VCU, and Wichita State rather than going to a blue blood. I still would have went another route besides Alford though.

The hate mail stuff sucks, but he has to know that has nothing to do with why he was fired. When he brings it up after firings, it seems like he's pointing to his being black as the reason for his firing. Well, I'm sure everyone sees right through what he's saying if he says he's being fired for his race. I'd rather he say it in the offseason that during the season. You're probably right, I guess I didn't think of what a crapstorm that would have created for his team.

I cannot believe they hired Steve Alford in 2013. 1999, maybe. Neither can I, it was pretty shocking. And I think Alford is going to regret it, too. He had a pretty good thing going in at UNM. All he had to do was keep the Lobos relevant and he'd have been in a pretty good place. I have a feeling his name is going to mud (all right, muddier) by the time he's done at UCLA. But yeah, UCLA isn't a school that needs to be hiring Steve [expletive] Alford. It's going to be rough on his kid too, especially if he is really going to play him at point guard. The whole thing is probably going to end up being a train wreck.

He's not very athletic, that's his one weakness. He's still really damn good though.
