I still love Deron Williams. Hey who recruited him again? It should be clear to pretty much everyone now that Bruce rolled the balls out for that group that Lon and Bill put together. Now Bruce is on his own and we are a .500 conference team. Awesome. All hail Bruce Weber.

I wasn't expecting a win, but I thought we could at least keep it close. If they keep playing like this they will be Top 5 before the end of the month. Texas is really good, and they've been getting better all season. Very nervous about Saturday's game. I'd say that team has the most NBA talent in the Big 12, and somehow Rick Barnes hasn't effed it up yet. I'm usually a huge Barnes critic but he has actually been very good this year. He did spend most of the offseason in Utah with Jerry Sloan trying to replecate what they do, so I will give him some credit there in seeing that he needed to change. After last years debacle its nice to see them doing well. Usually Texas-Kansas is a good game, but I don't like the chances on the road. The Barnes is a bad coach thing is a myth. He sucked last year. Everyone wants to point to the Durant year, but they were all frosh.

Yeah, I watched them go 100% against us. We were unfortunate enough to have the heathen knocking down 3s from the Nittany Lion logo with a hand in his face We are the anti kryptonite for that little bastage.

They can't afford Garza. Their owner is keeping $12M all to himself. If they throw in Wil Myers and John Lamb, too, I'll pay the $6M salary. You weren't very high on the Royals system earlier this year, glad to see you turned the corner. -
That, and he's a power-hitting lefty, so that's worth taking a shot on. It was mentioned in the trade thread, but I wonder if he'd benefit being moved to 1B. His arm is one of his biggest strengths, and he plays decent defense according to BA. Why move him?

Northwestern. if we can beat ohio state, we'll have a decent shot at 8-2 going into the minny game and would look good for 12 conference wins. Wish we would have got that Penn State game. I refuse to believe that these seniors won't give away one we have no business losing though. When was the last time Illinois looked good in a game against PSU, regardless of where? I wasn't expecting to win the Wisky game in the slightest, and every PSU game is like watching a train wreck set off by an atom bomb. The Bill Self era? For some reason Ed DeChillis owns Bruce Weber.

The Clippers should be better than they are. They have Blake Griffin and that little kid whose name escapes me playing the 2 ;) . Too bad Baron Davis is a shell of what he used to be.

38-37 in Big Ten games since Dee brown left campus. So we are prolly gonna be sub.500 after these next 2 games. How does anyone think this guy isn't in over his head? I beginning to think that as well, just lost to two games to teams combined still wouldn't match Illinois talent and athleticism. And that's not a knock on Wisconsin just don't think it's one of their better teams. His teams continually lack preparedness, do not hustle, he keeps playing Mike Davis when Davis decides to take a game off, such as yesterday, I'm ready for him to be replaced. I just don't see us getting this turned around again under him. We looked great when he was coaching Deron Williams. Well Deron Williams was the best player in college by far at that point, even though he didn't try to put up gaudy numbers. He has struggled recruiting that seems fixed, but now he is struggling to adapt to these talented kids. I just don't see it happening. I think it's time to move on.

Yeah, but the Royals are willing to spend on the draft. They spent a ton on Mellville, plus the local following would be huge for Starling. It would be a great PR move. Hope I am wrong. -

Classes start next week right? What about grades, could he be suspended? I cant remember at what point in the season Stiemsma and Landry got suspended their soph years at UW for grades. We would have heard about that by now I am sure.
