he was ok when he was hitting that 10-15 footer with regulation. now he just can't be counted on for anything. Yeah he was his best as a sophomore. Who has that kind of success that early and then zero confidence as a senior?

How would that be fun? Obama is a hack that can shoot a little bit. Jordan's the greatest player who ever lived. I wouldn't be looking for the competitivness of the game, obviously. I just think it would be fun to see them both play. I want to see MJ do more awesome speeches that get people all fired up and hurt.

yeah definitely seems like one of those 'hey jerry, we love you and all but..can you just make this easier on all of us and resign' resignations. But then again, he signed an extension fairly recently right? Two days ago. If they did this just to keep Williams they are stupid. I don't think he stays in Utah no matter what.

We'll have bad years just like everyone else. We had them in the late 90s when ISU was rolling us. We were a six seed in '99 and an 8 seed in 2000. This year's class looks like ass so far, but there's a good chance we grab 5* SF Deandre Daniels. We're also still in the mix for 5* Ben McLemore and 4* C/PF Angelo Chol. If we can grab 2/3 of those guys, we'll be ok. Self always cleans up after coaching changes at other spots as well. He will ge the horses there.

They aren't going to. They have a great coach and a nasty homecourt advantage. Barring the IRS and FBI nailing them I don't see their roll slowing for a long time. :banghead:

why do you say that? Maybe he was referring to last year, where they lost in the 2nd round as a 1 seed. Go MVC schools. I find it hard to believe an Illinois fan would be making fun of KU's tourney success. No, I just meant what does it really matter? A 1 or a 2 means something more to a small school that hasn't accomplished it much. KU is good every single year. I don't think it really should mean that much to them. I could be wrong, but I'd rather be close to home and the 2 then shipped out west and be a 1.

Right now I am thinking both Texas and Kansas will be getting #1 seeds based on the remaining schedules. if we play again in the Big 12 championship and we lose, i doubt we'll get a 1. You don't think a 2- or 3-loss Kansas team gets a No. 1 seed? Right now the only other major conference teams with three or fewer losses are OSU (23-0), Duke (21-2), Pittsburgh (21-2) and Texas (20-3). It seems like it would be hard to pass Kansas up, especially if they finish with two losses and both are to Texas, who I'd assume would remain a top-5 team. OSU probably has one locked up. A second loss to Texas would give Texas one over KU (if they already don't have it over KU.) That would leave KU to fight with Pitt, Duke, and UConn. I suppose a 2-loss KU's chances would depend in large part on what happens with Pitt and UConn. I don't think Duke will lose again. Of course, it's also early too predict no more conference losses. We still have to play Texas A&M in Lawrence and Mizzou twice, including at the Paige Arena in Columbia. Who cares, a one seed for Kansas doesn't mean that much.

If only we had more than 5 guys on the team. That would help as well, I'd definitely start Leonard over Tisdale and regardless of what Richmond says about coming off the bench I'd go with him over Cole. Neither of them are soft, they're agressive and willing shove in someone' face, not cower away and hide in the corner. How awesome was that spin move and dunk from Leonard? Let him play. Agreed, do think NU, UIC, PSU, IU, etc. would have had any answer for Leonard? Tisdale' easy to defend, he doesn't want to mix up in the first place and you can just push him away, don't believe Leonard can just be push away. I thought we made a run and took the lead in the UIC game with Leonard and Jereme together. They rebound better, pass better, and don't shy away from contact.

I honestly think he would love to be able to make that move as well. This team has to be killing him. As a fan of both programs, it's a move that would benefit both too. yeah, i think he is a decent coach that is just in a bit over his head. He really needs a deep breath and he isn't gonna get one in the big ten these days.
