I don't really give a poop. He shouldn't have had to go to college for a year anyways when it was clear he didn't want or need to. But let's not make him a saint or anything because he's really good at basketball. He didn't go to college, he went to Memphis Well played sir.

yea, i basically agree. i'll always love him and i'll never forget the arizona comeback (still the most amazing sporting event i've ever experienced), but about a year ago i started losing a little respect for his character. his proclamation that he was the best PG in the NBA (which was true at the time, but still), the calling out of the front office for trading ronnie brewer, and now this. he kinda seems like a dick. also his haircut is unfortunate. just another reason that rose is the man. the most controversial thing derrick has ever done was eat to many gummy bears and cheat on his ACT? if you aren't cheating you aren't trying duh also it's not his fault he's dumb. instead of bashing him for cheating, we should praise him for using the little intelligence he has to agree to cheat. the guy just continues to defy the odds even when things are stacked against him. Nope, but I also thought if we shot as well as we did we would be in the game. Didn't you? Hard to stay in a game when you play no defense and turn the ball over 18 times. Guess it's a good thing we shot well. Could have been a 40 point loss. Although maybe that's what it is gonna take for a change to be made.

We will be in the NIT. And lose in either the 1st or 2nd round. They're easily in the tournament if they beat Indiana and Iowa at home, and don't lose to a bad team in the Big Ten tournament. You are assuming every good small school wins their tourny.

i really don't have much of an opinion on him, but know that Simmons thinks he's the worst thing ever.

My biggest issue with it now is all the missed dunks. You know what MJ, Vince, and Nique great? They all did it on the first try. That and they didn't need a thousand props to catch an alleyoop and dunk it with two hands. Oh and I hate Kenny Smith. the degree of difficulty on some of those dunks is so off the charts now that a couple of misses per attempt is pretty much going to be a staple Are you sure any of those dunks were harder than the wrong way 360 windmill Vince unleashed in one attempt after jogging into it?
