You're asking who out there needs Albert Pujols. Did you miss the money part? Nope. Again, Albert Pujols. That's obviously not saying every team can afford him, but a player of that level is going to bring some relatively unexpected suitors out of the woodwork. Acting like the field is as narrow as C.C. is seemingly suggesting is silly. I'm not so sure. I'm betting there is less than 7 to 8 real suitors, should he get to FA.

I love how the pen sucked all year and yet now it's a strength, wish we we could just get players who decide to get better. What pisses me off most about Cardinals is their MO of catching lightning in a bottle with a journey man player - and it works. I hate the fringe, if that, prospects performing at high levels for them when it matters.

Well that's because it was a ball. Don't worry; the Cardinals may scratch across another run or so, but they're pretty bad about putting up a big first inning then sleepwalking through the rest of the game. If they go to Narveson, the Brewers still have a chance to win. Go away, boo hoo we backed into a playoffs and are gonna win it all.
