    I don't think there's any question whether they can afford to resign him, I think they might just not want to resign him. My guess is management might not view him as the elite pitcher he will no doubt be paid to be. There is also the issue of spending $20 million over the next two years for the ace of a 75 win team. Without spending the $20 million over the next two years we might be a 60-win team. You've got Garza worth 30 wins over the next two years?

    OU seems to be losing a lot of transfers. We got a former 4-star RB from there a few weeks ago and I have heard there are more kids ready to jump ship too. Why is KU turning into the Iowa St. of football?

    Oh...great. It's been so long since we've had a Rajon Rondo debate in the middle of the Bulls thread. I'm surprised it took us 12 games to get there. Sorry, didn't mean to derail. Still think Walls gonna have a hard time becoming a superstar though.

    He can't shoot, he's a hell of an athlete though. And by can't shoot, I mean he might be the worst jump shooting guard I've ever seen. Tony Allen Actually, that's true. Wall has a ways to go to catch up with Allen. Ok, point remains it's gonna be hard to take that step to superstar if you can't shoot at all.

    The rankings also had the Rays and Rangers as two of the best teams a couple of years ago. Obviously it meant nothing.

    I saw Machado play a few times this year, and man, I think he's going to be something special. I think his glove is under-rated - hard for me to not see him as a good defensive player, perhaps plus, but not bad, as some suggested/thought. It's a bit ridiculous to say this (acknowledging how stupid it sounds ahead of time), but boy, he really reminds me of a young Alex Rodriguez. I've never seen either play other than tv, so I'm not saying I'm right. I just get a better feel from Profars stats up to this point.

    25 points is incredible, that's almost half of the team's total. Why can't Bruce ever give a true compliment? Why must everything be a slight? God I hate the man. in the guy's defense, the other comments he made about bertrand were very complimentary. if DJ's going to be out for a few games, we need to get myke into the starting lineup. Eh, I'll readily admit my hatred of him is so severe now I can't be objective. I too would like to see Myke get more minutes. Kid can score. We need that.

    Man Bertrand has been awesome this year I bet his coach thinks he's great. Post game interview Bruce Weber said, "I don't really like them, but they are going in." That was in reference to his floaters. He's and his floaters are the big reason you aren't 0-4 in the B1G, you [expletive].

    Paul is also a good slasher. His problem is that he thinks he's also a good shooter, and people will give him the shot every time. he's a legendarily bad shooter. I wish he'd play within his limits and be really good. When he tries to jump shoot he kills us.

    Yeah I think 20 of the first 30 are on the road. We still have a 9 (!) game road trip that starts at the end of this month. That's gonna be brutal. Why? Didn't we avoid the circus trip this year?

    Can't quite tell if he's saying that there's still the chance of going after Fielder or if there never was a legit persuit. Or if Boras is pleading with Olney to say mornings changed? We've moved on from Prince, Rizzo is our guy now.
