  1. Sam hasn't made a field goal in 5 games now, might be 6. So of course he's gonna get 30 minutes again tonight. Unreal. He must be great at something for Bruce to play him so much.
  2. Nice move Zeller, looking like an athlete.
  3. i havent heard him do a basketball game lately, but it seemed as if he was becoming more...self aware (im not sure if that's the word for it) during football season and was trying to be more ridiculous and over the top. i still love him though. He's gonna be Vitale soon. I don't care for him at all.
  4. What a terrible charge call. Ok it was overturned.
  5. Oh and Big Z isn't Meyers league as an athlete.
  6. I don't get why everyone loves Gus Johnson so much. He's turning into a caricature of himself.
  7. So Law dropped San Diego because he said they lost top 25 prospect Anthony Rizzo, yet now Rizzo is rated lower than that. Hmmmm... What changed in a day Keith?
  8. [-X I would think you'd wanna drop this one. Won't really hurt you and might help Weber out. I imagine you get us by 7 or so. Hmmm, I do love me some Brucie. :-k Nah, can't do it. It's ok, you're gonna really hate Shaka.

  10. IU basketball is back one111111!!!1!1!1!!1!1!!!!!!!!one.
  11. Perkins has this false sense of importance because he was a Celtic and rode some coat tails to a title. You realize that LeBrons taken dumps with more talent than you Kendrick, right?
  12. Cody's brother. All the Zellers are tools, what are you trying to prove here?
  13. Clarify this. Given the oppotunity, you'd take Paul over Rose? I'd play them together.
  14. Both undervalued guys. Nash was thought of as more of a backup, in reality he was a star. Lin was thought of as a D-Leaguer, in reality he's a serviceable pro. Both played very very well in Mike D's system.
  15. Yep probably, but I wonder if people thought the same about Steve Nash before he got a real shot in Dallas. Lin was an undrafted free agent who was let go by 2 teams for nothing. Nash was the 15th overall pick who was traded 2 years later for that year's 19th pick, plus the next year's draft pick from a team who just finished the season 20-62. Steve Nash was (still is) one of the best ballhandlers (w/both hands) the league has ever seen, to go with supreme court vision, unbelievablely accurate passing ability (w/both hands) and and among the best jumpers ever. At his age now, without his former quickness, he can work in traffic better than any other guard in the league. Lin is not that kind of playmaker, doesnt have that type of handle or shot and never will. Not to say Lin wont be useful, but comparing him to nash is asinine, as they dont share any similarities in their game. I didn't mean to really compare their games. Just the situations that they were in. I think he will be passable in the system Mike D runs.

ETA: Pat Garrity was in a lot of huge trades. September 25, 1997: As part of a 3-team trade, traded by the Cleveland Cavaliers (as a 1998 1st round draft pick) with Terrell Brandon and Tyrone Hill to the Milwaukee Bucks; the Milwaukee Bucks traded Sherman Douglas to the Cleveland Cavaliers; the Milwaukee Bucks traded Vin Baker to the Seattle SuperSonics; and the Seattle SuperSonics traded Shawn Kemp to the Cleveland Cavaliers. June 24, 1998: Traded by the Dallas Mavericks with Martin Muursepp, Bubba Wells and a 1999 1st round draft pick (Shawn Marion) to the Phoenix Suns for Steve Nash. June 24, 1998: Traded by the Milwaukee Bucks with Dirk Nowitzki to the Dallas Mavericks for Robert Traylor. August 5, 1999: Traded by the Phoenix Suns with Danny Manning, a 2001 1st round draft pick (Jason Collins) and a 2002 1st round draft pick (Amare Stoudemire) to the Orlando Magic for Anfernee Hardaway. Yeah he isn't going to be as good as Steve Nash, but they don't need him to be. They just need him to not be awful.

  18. Magic doesn't get the respect he deserves. At all. Certainly not amongst Laker fans under the age of 35. I don't get it at all. I supervise a ton of young basketball fans at work. Their general consensus is that a young Magic couldn't play point guard in the league now. It infuriates me. Everything new isn't necesarrily better.
  19. Snood, northwestern had 6 kids on schools that were healthy enough to play against us. Weber played 6 and never pressed them. They played a guard on Meyers Leonard for over half the game, we got him 11 shots of which he made 10. Weber is terrible. Just an average game coach would have won that game by 15 by just playing an uptempo game and running all 10 of our athletes at them.
  20. More importantly is mrs. Curry is still hot. That's the main thing I took away from this game.
  21. But what if he blew by him? Then you go to OT. And don't lose in regulation. Like they just did. I was kidding Well be more obvious next time! My detector missed that one! Lol, I should have used green font. That was awful defense.
  22. But what if he blew by him? there was like 1.4 seconds left. I was kidding, you have to force the ball out of rivers hands IMO.

  25. Anyone else seen the pic of Steve Francis floating around? He looks 60.
