  1. That Illinois team was damn good though, I don't know that it mattered what Bruce said there. Not that I'm even sure that pregame speeches matter than much. It is interesting how Michigan does it now, I notice they have some assistant coach handle the pregame speeches instead of the head coach. Whether it matters or not, I don't know. Prolly not, but good lord. "five fingers don't hurt, but together they make a fist. Take these four together and.... Make a fist and hit them. It's the most powerful." pan to Luther trying not laugh. And I'm resigned to the fact we will never have another season like that. Why couldn't UNC let us get one? Bastards.
  2. Good god, I just watched his fist speech again. Jesus H. It was our first ever shot at a title and that's what he came up with.....
  3. Best part was only DJ played meaningful minutes in that game. Way to be Bruce.
  4. It was brutal.
  5. I lose at least 2 or 3 hours of sleep each night thinking about that tbh. I imagine you just think about the last three years basketball team and it puts you right back to sleep. No, actually I watch one of Bruce's fiery pregame speeches and it does the trick. Lol touché.

  7. One decent year and a half decade and you run your mouths, hard to believe no one likes your fan base.
  8. I think you're the better team, but we had a chance to win stolen from us.
  9. I feel IU should have shot 75 to 80 free throws.
  10. Lol, those two don't care much for each other. I liked that.
  11. In all honesty that's why you have to beat the bad teams that we've lost to. We do that and this game wouldn't have hurt. We knew the officials would be awful there.
  12. not as awful as Illinois Still no child molesters on our campus. Bold statement Shouldn't be. Sports aren't everything. But hey no damage was done to the program. We Are Penn State!
  13. not as awful as Illinois Still no child molesters on our campus. God bless Joe Paterno, I hope he's getting what he deserves.
  14. Reminds Tom Crean of DWade.
  15. Yes because I'm all illinois fans. You are awful, so glad for your two cents.
  16. In the last 7 games, Sammy Ice's numbers 139 minutes 0-13 from 3 1-16 from the filed 3 points  I don't care if Myke Henry guards worse than a handicapped person, Sam is terrible. Oh and he can't guard anyone either. He is exactly as bad as I thought he would be. Even though many tried to assure me he did ok in the MVC. I know he was ok then, but he's been hurt badly since that point. He's not that player at all anymore and that player wasn't good enough to sniff the Big Ten. He is the reason this season fell apart, his return guaranteed the end of Weber.
  17. I assume that every post from illiniguy and sulley is unnecessary and flippant hyperbole. Oh it is, but for the love of all things holy anyone who didnt think that was a travesty deserves nothing but hyperbole. This coming from a guy who kind of wants us to lose out to ensure we have a new coach.
  18. I'm looking at the play by play and I'm confused by what you said. Indiana got into the bonus with 13:44 left. Leonard's 4th foul was an offensive one (the moving screen) with 12:29, and it looks like Indiana got into the double bonus with 8:20 left after a foul by Henry. Am I missing something? Nope. IU was in the double bonus with 15 minutes to play. End of story. The hyperbole is unnecessary and flippant. Funny, I don't remember you posting that when Illiniguy posted these gems: "But, but, but, they drove more." "But Indiana is back, Gus told me so. They're gonna win it all this year." And some BS about the talent Illinois players getting too close to the untalented IU players. I know it wasn't you who was doing it, but I'm just giving it back to you guys. Your a mod. You're supposed to be better than me.
  19. Keep believing that you would have won the game with Leonard in there. Bottom line, your team didn't stop the dribble drive well enough to win even if the officials swallowed their whistles. I never said it didn't impact the game. It did. You lost by 13 instead of 7. Whoopity Doo! Right cause you said so, look at you running circles again. Prove me wrong. How well did you think Illinois did stopping Hulls and Oladipo from getting in the lane? In the first half well enough to be right there with you. Then when the referees went foul crazy you pushed it out. Did you watch the game?

  21. Good call ccp he could have been called for a t on that first exchange with Zeller. I forgot about that, still think the last three fouls against him were awful though. Game changing.
  22. Call me crazy, but I have to think the 27 shot FT difference was caused, in large part, by 1 team going to the hoop aggressively and 1 team not at all. Illinois made 12 layups, Indiana 14. Both made the same amount of threes. Illinois made 5 extra 2 point jumpers, and took 8 additional shots (9 threes, IU had one additional 2-point attempt than Illinois). But, but, but, they drove more. I like when I run circles around your ass with facts you take a shot at me or the team. Come harder than that dude. You haven't done that, but keep thinking you have. Our best player was taken out of the game for a large stretch after two horrible calls, yet you don't think that impacted the game. So there is no sense reasoning with you,

But, but, but, they drove more. They may have, most of the layups were Leonard, who shot three FTs. But Indiana is back, Gus told me so. They're gonna win it all this year.
  24. Call me crazy, but I have to think the 27 shot FT difference was caused, in large part, by 1 team going to the hoop aggressively and 1 team not at all. Besides the three straight trips early when Brandon Paul got leveled for no calls you mean? Yep. Even take those 3. Still weren't the aggressive team and still would have had a 21 FT difference. Illinois still loses the game. Make you feel better? And then let leonard play when he didn't foul and keep dominating the latest hack Zeller.
