Im amazed clownshoes had an epic run with his offense in '05 with two point guards then decides to recruit only two point guards the next 7 years. The insane is he has this team which is rated just as high as that '05 team in recruiting rankings and this happens. Then you have the '08-'09 team with a starting lineup of Frazier (2 star), Meacham (2 star, I think?), McCamey (4 star), Davis (2 star), and Tisdale(3-4 star depending on service) And he had a great year in '08 relatively speaking to his post Self players. Which is why I think a mid major wouldbe smart to grab him back up. He does much better with less talented kids he can coach to muddy up a game and hope to steal it at the end.

We aren't trying to say we should be a top 5 team each year, we just don't wanna be on the bubble every year. That's a pretty big difference right there.

Consistency. Isn't that the truth though? I'm telling you right now we would be pretty freaking solid with Bo Ryan coaching us. We were one basket away from 3 wins over top 10 teams, yet we aren't even on the bubble. We are talking historically bad coaching job Brucie did this year.

Nobody said Illinois had more talent than Ohio State. Hold my calls. Cancel my meetings. Looks like I have research to do. Or crow to eat. I thought most arguments were we had as much talent as anyone not named OSU. We might have had more top 100 kids than OSU, but they probably had lower numbers on their top 100s. Still we have as good of talent as anyone in the Big not named Ohio State. And we have a better big man than they do, go ahead and look at how much Leonard outplayed May 2 in their head to heads.

It's a great story, but I really doubt KU s gonna start playing games against other name programs unless it's part of a tournament, odds are that will turn into another cupcake game at home. Great entertainment.

Living in Kansas City snood I gotta say many people on both sides want the rivalry to continue. None of my friends are happy about it and they fall on both sides of the fence.

Im not endorsing the breakup, but I dont think even a Jordan/Pippen bulls was gonna stop that Spur squad. They rolled through the playoffs like it was nothing. It's hard to say, prolly not. But why in the hell wouldn't you take that shot?

That Knicks team that made the Finals sucked also, but that was in a strike year. Whoa. That Knicks team was sick. LJ, Spree, Houston, Camby, Charlie Ward and Big Sexy. And Ewing played most of those playoffs. The game after ewing went down; the larry johnson 4 point play followed by the LJ symbol and then delivered the takbir to a terrified jim grey was one of the best moments in NBA history. I hate the knicks but I liked that team because of Camby, Ward, Spree and Johnson. The team Lebron brought to the finals as a 21 year old was absolutely pathetic. that's why I hate the Jerrys so much. They could have got one more title shot, you don't pass those up.

yeah, look at kansas, their program is in shambles. Their football program is and that's all that matters on conferences wanting schools.

Kansas should keep playing Missouri. Had they had the chance to do what Missouri is doing they would have jumped as well. It's just no one wants them and now they are all butt hurt.

I think the team will summon whatever it has left for that game, so I tend to agree. But losing to the Hawkeyes at home would definitely be the cherry on the [expletive] sundae. It's gonna happen.

I've heard that scout is about to make some mod changes on that site. Apparently their has been a ton of complaints. What, did Nova make an elaborate show behind the scenes and tender his resignation? Lol, not sure. Just know what a few people got in emails in response to complaints about what was going on over there.
