  1. how exactly does that mean it's a better job? Because it currently employs someone with a better resume? We don't understand him, he's too smart for all of us.
  2. So, then Texas Tech was a better program when Bobby Knight was the coach? Boston U was quite the plum job back in the day. San Francisco won back to back titles.
  3. I like your list a lot better. But, I'd argue that UCONN s Calhoun and will fall apart fast after he is gone as it doesn't have a huge recruiting base nearby. I also don't think that Georgetown is a better job either. But, at least you listed Indiana. UConn will be fine. What is it, 2 hours from NYC and a half hour from ESPN? I don't know. I could be wrong. But to me, that is just Jim Calhoun. The ongoing disintegration of the Big East is going to hurt those schools quite a bit. I don't think the conference will lose big 6 status in hoops, but if they lose BCS status in football it will take a LOT of money away from the athletic programs of those schools. UCONN left though, didn't it?
  4. I'm guessing because it has made the most money the past few years. But yeah, I agree wiht you it isn't a better job.

  6. Yep because the world is always as cut and dry as that. Genius.

  8. What about Marquette makes it a better job than Illinois? And Uconn? Better Job. Not program.
  9. No, I don't agree with that at all. Think Corce was possibly one year away from being Shaka Smart. He would have returned everyone off of his 29 win team and would have probably made another tournament run. Furthermore he recruited every single guy on his deep run team. Something that neither Stevens or Smart can say about their teams. But hey, I'm just a psycho, not a super genius like yourself. it doesn't take a genius to know the illinois job is not a top 10 in the nation job. I'd say top 15. Try and name me 15 better jobs.
  10. What's his situation that he has to leave, family need money? That sucks. Will hurt you at first, but by the middle of the year it won't be as big a deal, IMO.

  12. Hey look abuck is calling names, it's what the really smart do.
  13. yeah, i can't believe bill self didn't come out and say the illinois job was a rotten piece of [expletive] job that would ruin your career. So to be clear, you're still not wrong? Phew, for a second there I thought you might have been wrong. wrong about what? Illinois being a great job, or is everyone else who is paid to talk about this sort of thing wrong?
  14. Bukie would be the first to die. From suicide. I doubt that.

  16. I really am starting to like this hire more and more as I read more about Groce. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/11602048-419/self-on-groce-hes-terrific.html Self's take on the hire and Illinois job. Appears he agrees with me. abuck better tell him how wrong he is.
  17. It's still good to hear. You see the news on Nunn? yeah, fab 5 with: james nunn hill parker schilling yeah right. nice dream though. Im more just wanting Nunn. We already have the two. You end up with those three. Parkers prolly coming.
  18. It's still good to hear. You see the news on Nunn?
  19. malcolm hill is going to meet with groce, but he really likes his offensive system and his coach thinks he shouldn't be an issue. James said he is still all in.
  20. I'm excited. Only reserve I have is losing Jerrance. He bleeds orange and blue and went out and got us guys when no one else could. I'll wish him luck no matter where he ends up, just leave us Jabari lol.
  21. everyone else had class I hope so. FFS A lot of rumblings on Scout about the players mad it wasn't Jerrance. Not sure how much of that is the crazy scout mod team tho.
  22. everyone else had class I hope so. That's what Griffey said when they asked him why only he and DJ were there. Oh nice, I didn't hear that.
  23. everyone else had class I hope so.
  24. Not sure if I should worry about only 2 current players being there?
  25. I think this is going to happen. Not good, I really don't want Self to get his foot back in inside of Chicago. he won't be as effectrive, as has been stated, but we don't need it. It won't be, but Self is a hell of a closer. I'd prefer he not have an in at all.
