I like Martinez, don't see it with Wacha. Yep. Martinez could be. He isn't yet. Wacha is incredibly overrated. He's a nice pitcher, but not like some people think. That postseason success the first year still has everyone fooled.

In the 6 games against the Cardinals in September 2015, the Cubs went 4-2. Those 2 losses were both games started by Carlos Martinez, although I will say in neither game was he particularly great. He's never lost to the Cubs as well. Was Martinez the pitcher in that awful game at Busch last year when we scored like 5 runs in the first and then lost? Yep. I think.

So last week against the DBacks down 7 Matheny has a position player pitch. This week against us down 10 he has the infield in. Do the St. Louis reporters ever ask him about this stuff? He is really bad.

Not claiming to be a smart guy at all but I still wonder how healthy he was last year the last half but other years, who knows? Leaving the NL 2 years ago? That's kind of what I was also thinking with last year. He really labored.
