  1. By my count we now have like 12 dudes from the projected 25 man roster who are in the IL: Suzuki Miley Smyly Mills Villar Bote Heyward Alzolay Hermosillo Gomes Madrigal Wieck
  2. Why is Clint Frazier still a thing?
  3. Looking at his BR page, Swarmer played college at a placed called Kutztown. Ryan Vogelsong is the only other player to reach the MLB from Kutztown in the last 100 years. So good for Mr. Swarmer.
  4. Good lord, Cobs. Way to get your butts destroyed by one of the worst teams in history.
  5. Dang, Boog nailed it. Drury’s stance looks identical to Tulo
  6. You're not wrong. Nevertheless, the gap between the haves and the have nots is about to greatly expand. Bama won’t be able to keep up and that’s why Saban is crying; his absurd competitive advantage is shrinking.
  7. More "ridiculous" statements, this time from SI https://www.si.com/college/2022/05/02/nil-name-image-likeness-experts-divided-over-boosters-laws-recruiting
  8. Again, just because YOU don't know their names does not mean we do not have billionaires in our alumni/booster base. Five San Antonians make Forbes 400 list Quick Google search and I know for a fact that two of these five are Aggies. And I'm not trying to measure any dicks. Just laughing at those who don't think A&M has plenty of money at our disposal. That wasn't the issue. OMC made a ridiculous statement and it's ridiculous. There are many other programs, dozens even or more that *could* spend unlimited sums of money buying players. There are other programs with more money and access to more available money. DOZENS? Speaking of ridiculous statements…. Seriously, your take on this is bizarre because we aren’t talking about schools who “could” (which could even include Harvard or Yale), we’re talking about schools who “do” have boosters that are willing to spend that sort of money on games. It’s like you don’t think oil money is a real thing. Texas and TAMU are top 5 every year in overall athletics expenditures for a reason and it isn’t because of tuition money. It’s because they have donors willing to put their money toward athletics as opposed to academics. Again, these are hicks with money.
  9. Seriously, I’m a bit stunned at the blowback on my statement about TAMU. There are 58 billionaires in Texas and those dudes aren’t tech nerds; they’re hicks with money and that’s not counting all the hicks with hundreds of millions from their Texas Tea money. For reference, Michigan has 6 billionaires and Ohio has 7.
  10. What makes you so highly skeptical? If they don’t have the richest they are right up there with whichever school does. Texas and USC are the only other two who come immediately to mind. And remember, I said richest boosters, not richest alumni. There are plenty of Ivy League schools that have richer alumni bases, but we’re talking about people who donate millions to the athletics departments of their schools. Ohio State, Michigan, USC, UCLA, I would imagine have people who could put any SEC school to shame. Probabily many others too. Again, this really isn’t complicated: BOOSTERS are different than Alumni. You’re absolutely tripping if you think UCLA gets more money from athletic boosters than Texas A&M. I’d bet my life that Texas and TAMU are probably 1 and 2 from booster donations. You have any idea how many rednecks are billionaires or have hundreds of millions of dollars in Texas due to oil money? I don’t doubt Michigan and Ohio State can hang with the Texas schools as far as booster contributions, but you can chunk UCLA and “many others” out of this conversation. It’s almost certainly USC, Texas, TAMU, Michigan, and OSU in some order
  11. I highly doubt that.
  12. The NIL stuff is going to correct itself eventually. Right now it's the wild west, but there are going to be plenty of busts, not just with players but with teams as well. Let's say Jimbo rolls out another few seasons of 9-3. Those boosters are going to start wondering about their return on investment for paying all this money. Getting them to pay again and again every year is going to be difficult. So I think boosters are eventually going to start being more cautious and the numbers will go down.
  13. If it's legal, then go for it. TAMU's NIL game is clearly the most lucrative right now. Next year it might be someone else. Saban is just being a wuss because their NIL packages aren't as attractive as some other schools. But I mean, it's all relative anyways. He's really crying wolf now that he has the number two recruiting class instead of number one? Gimme a break. What's interesting about NIL is you are going to see some schools that were in the background now emerge as super NIL players for this reason: in some places there are mega-millionaire boosters who never wanted to play the under the table game for fear of being exposed and disassociated, etc. However, now that it's legal, those guys are all in because the embarrassment of an NIL deal not working out isn't nearly as bad as the embarrassment of being caught as an illegal booster. I think TAMU is a good example of this. They probably have the richest group of boosters of any school in the country, but lets say hypothetically only half of them were willing to contribute to the under the table stuff in the past. Well now that it's above board all of them are pitching in to their "collective" or whatever they are calling it.
  14. Kiffin's twitter game lately, commenting on how Saban went on Finebaum and said that NIL is ruining the parity of college football.
  15. Unfortunately, I don't have this option. Who are these guys? They're brutal. Click “settings”, “audio track”, “home”. You just salvaged my night
  16. I’m so so done with Vargas. Nico and Simmons need to come back ASAP
  17. I wouldn't recognize him if I bumped into him on the street. That haircut sure is something so I walked back in the room and see this lady interviewing some old man and she asks him if he has any pool stories and I thought she was talking to the head groundskeeper and then she calls him Gonzo and my mind was blown
  18. I’m digging the graphics and aesthetic
