They like him enough for him to be on the 53 when he comes back from suspension. Keeping 3 QB's on an active roster is rare. He's going to play this year. On the other hand, I'm not sure if Hoyer is actually coming in to play; he's coming in to hold a clipboard and mentor Brissett and Kelly. Being Brady's backup for 4 or 5 years has surely taught him some things he can pass onto the younger guys.

This is the horsefeathering Chad-iest privilege ever. horsefeathers this horsefeathers, for real. To be fair to Swag, that bouncer later stated that he has to mention a gun to actually get the cops to come out there. So Swag really didn’t say that bit about the AK. But it only slightly mitigates the fact that bouncers had to call the cops because he and his crew were being such turds in the first place. The story did give opposing SEC fans the terrific opportunity to refer to him as Machine Gun Kelly.

Chad Kelly is a doofus, no doubt. He’s a cockeyed white homeboy who has written rap songs...about himself. But the dude can ball. The stats don’t lie. He’s Jim Kelly’s protege actually. Jim taught him how to ball but not how to live life. Check out his self promoting rap song from high school.

Only boring Colts fans want Brissett to be the starter after watching Kelly this preseason. He has a ten cent head but he’s a bad sumbitch on the field. In college he had a higher QBR than Baker Mayfield, Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson, Dak Prescott, Lamar Jackson and Jared Goff. He put up 762 yards, 7 TD’s, and 0 INT’s in his two games against Bama, including Bama’s last home loss. He has the third most offensive yards in a single season in SEC history. Yeah, I know I’m an Ole Miss homer, but good grief, a Chad Kelly lead mediocre Ole Miss offense put up 91 points in those two games against Saban’s D. Colts fans have already seen what Brissett can do on the field. His ceiling is being an average NFL QB. Kelly has the potential to be an outstanding NFL QB. There isn’t a single throw he can’t make. Hell, watch that video I posted. That guy isn’t some Ole Miss homer and he was floored by how good Kelly looks. Look at that throw at 11:20. That’s a Favre missile. Brissett isn’t making that pass. In the end, it’s about potential. Go check out some Colts message boards. The majority want Kelly to have a shot when he gets back from the suspension.

Given how he has performed in the preseason last year and this year (6th best QBR among all QB’s this preseason), I think he’d be competing for the starting job right now if not for the suspension. He’s better than Brissett. Anyone with eyeballs can see that. I think Kelly starts a game this season at some point.

If I’m really bored tomorrow I may go back at least a month and see how many of our runs are off dongs. It’s gotta be 80 percent. Haha. Probably not 80 percent, but it will be a lot of percent. Yeah not quite. Since August 1st (including today) 104 runs, 52 from homers. So, 50% on the nose.
