  1. Saints take Ricky Sapp, DE, Clemson
  2. wouldn't that shirt make more sense NEXT year because of the whole 3rd times a Charm thing? 102nd vs. 103rd....
  3. TYRUS COBB!?!?!!?!?!?!?!1111 did he stab the whole team, LOL LOL!
  4. Slovakia just needs to roll over right now so we can all get the matchup we want.
  5. man that relay event is crazy and intense
  6. Drew Pomeranz struck out 15 and walked none in seven innings tonight for the Rebs. Also heard that Kentucky's top pitcher James Paxton is no longer with the team. I'm not really sure what the situation was, but he was a first round pick last year for the Blue Jays.
  7. I hope this Canadian girl can at least get a bronze.
  8. And apparently smashed the record books. the South Korean girl is who smashed the records.
  9. hell ya, this Japanese figure skater is dressed like Cleopatra and is using the music from HBO's "Rome". Awesome.
  10. got a set for the 2 game Rockies series in May and a set for 3 of the 4 Phillies games in July. I'm pleased.
  11. has anyone gotten the "high transaction" error screen and then clicked continue and then be able to get your tickets? I need to know if I'm wasting my time by continuing to click "continue" when it says to resubmit my requested. do I have to start all over again in the virtual waiting room thing?
  12. so is it going to let me in eventually if I'm seeing the "we're sorry" screen. It's not going to time my session out or anything is it if I keep trying to continue the transaction
  13. "we're sorry, we are unable to process your request due to high traffic volumes" ARGH, this is like going to the doctor when they put you in the SECOND waiting room.
  14. win or lose, someone is gonna die tonight in New Orleans
  15. Colts 34, Saints 31
  16. The Who are such geezers
  17. ugh Reggie. Way to fail on multiple levels there. Bad omen.
  18. Yeah, you're wrong. I just watched the first three Saints possession on my DVR and only twice did Bushrod have help. Bushrod has turned into an extremely good tackle this year as evidenced in part by the fact of how few times Brees has been sacked.
  19. That's a bit of an exaggeration. Jared Allen didn't even touch Brees and only had 2 tackles. Bushrod had help. lol, every LT gets help sometimes. Are you trying to set this up to where if the Colts lose you can blame it all on Freeney not being 100%?
  20. That's a bit of an exaggeration. Jared Allen didn't even touch Brees and only had 2 tackles.
  21. hah. Yeah, I'd imagine 25% of Saints fans were those who joined the bandwagon in 2006 and another probably 40% got on it this year. If you don't know what the phrase "Dome Patrol" means, then you aren't a long suffering Saints fan. And if you don't know about the Ricky Williams fiasco (I'll always dislike him for the way he treated Deuce), then you REALLY haven't been around all that long.
  22. don't make me dig out my kids sized Bobby Hebert jersey shirt. it is a bit frustrating at times the bandwagonism(?) that is going on. I was telling some supposed Saints fans about Rickey Jackson getting into the hall yesterday and I basically got blank stares. These folks weren't even around as recently to watch Aaron Brooks throw interceptions and then laugh about it.
  23. Yes, I've noticed the marketing of the Saints in recent years emphasize more on the state as a whole with logos like this: http://chicksinthehuddle.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/saints-louisiana-300x288.jpg I've spent my entire life following them, holding season tickets, and wearing their gear and I don't recall anything like that growing up.
  24. He's the first who was known mainly as a Saint (perhaps that's what you meant). Players Doug Atkins, Earl Campbell, and Jim Taylor, coach Hank Stram, and GM Jim Finks are Hall of Famers that spent time with the Saints but were better known with other teams. Yes, that's what I meant.
  25. True. Interestingly enough, I'd argue that Mississippi is more of a Saints state top to bottom than Louisiana. In my experience I've come across a whole HELL of a lot of Cowboys fans in that state (such as yourself).
